Went to this place since when they were just a no name shack (literally, their name used to just be Turkish Kebub place or something.) The new location is a bit harder to get by, required a little more walk from the BTS Phaya Thai station and very not convenient to get by car (honestly the old place would be just as hard to get by if you drive.) It was a lot nicer and bigger though which is a plus.
All of their bread menu are my absoute favourite! They are basically oven baked pizza, the doughs are baked just after you ordered and always come with a nice grilling burnts. I tried some thing a bit different today and ordered the Turkish BBQ (in smallest size because that's the only size that came with their bread) and absolutely not disappointed. The BBQ is probabpy closer to burger as they are minced patty, it has a nice contrast with the fresh pepper and onion that came in the roll.
I also ordered their salted yogurt drink which is also very but the dessert which is a rice pudding crem brulee something with cinnamon and walnut is a bit too sweet. Would prefer them half the sugar or just serve it in a smaller portion.
Still love it overall and the price is a bargain for 300 BHT for everything including drink and dessert. Highly recommended 👌
*I went to the place again recently and found that they had a serious issue when servicing a large amount of customers. I usually went there in the afternoon or during lunch hours and both the quality and service had been excellent. However during my latest visit at the dinner time, the restaurent had been packed full and all of our food and drink had been very slow (and seems to be even worse for others.) One of the kebab was also served basically raw, and while they did re-cook it, the meat turn out to be dry and overcook the second time. I found it necessary to reduce the overall score to 4 stars instead of 5. Food's still great and the price is well worth it but you many not have the best experience at...
Read moreI recently visited a Turkish restaurant that truly impressed me—not just for the delicious food, but also for its freshly baked bread and the complimentary Turkish tea that made the experience even more special. As soon as I walked in, the warm scent of fresh bread greeted me, and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made me feel instantly at ease. The decor is simple yet charming, with touches of Turkish style that create a peaceful and inviting space. Whether you come alone or with friends, it’s the perfect spot to relax.
The highlight, without a doubt, was the freshly baked bread. Made in-house daily, the bread was soft, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. There were both classic and filled options, and I especially loved the cheese-filled bread—it was rich, buttery, and perfectly baked.
Another lovely touch was the free Turkish tea served at every table. Lightly fragrant and soothing, it paired wonderfully with the bread and added to the overall sense of hospitality. Small details like this really reflect the heart and generosity of the place.
The prices were very reasonable, especially given the quality and portion sizes. And the service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff were happy to offer suggestions and made the whole experience feel warm and personal.
All in all, this Turkish restaurant is a hidden gem—offering delicious bread, a relaxing atmosphere, and thoughtful service. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to enjoy a cup of tea and freshly baked goods, this is definitely a spot worth...
