This has to be the most amazing food experience I've ever had. I saw the restaurant from the outside and thought to myself that it would be nice to have ramen before leaving. Little did I know. When you enter, you're given a place in the queue if there's many people (5 mins waiting time for me), and when comes your turn, you'll be seated in a reproduction of a Japanese examination room. You can choose every single aspect of your ramen (soup's flavour, soup's oiliness, spiciness level, noodles' texture, etc.), and it will be prepared according to your choices. What was somewhat funny, you never see the waitress as she's behind a mobile curtain, and comes only when you push a button. All in all, it is an extremely original place, and definitely solo-eater friendly. As for the food, my ramen was lightyears ahead of what I had tried before, and I appreciated the extra noodles to make up for not eating pork. Definitely delicious, and surprisingly accurate when compared with my choices. As another reviewer said, you'll be leaving this restaurant with a belly full for the day. As an extra, this place is open 24/7 which is, again, such a good thing for night owls!! If you're in Bangkok and visiting Samyan Mitrtown, go there, it will be an amazing...
Read moreWe love Ramen at any given weather and time. This is now our fave Ramen place, I like to have my own preference for every ingredients in my Ramen. We have been here twice already and I learned to adjust some of the ingredients in my Ramen to make it more delicious. I made a mistake of choosing more garlic the first time. This restaurant is open 24 hours which made it more great.
The broth is flavorful, I prefer the " strong " flavor level of broth and discovered also that it's better with " rich " soup oiliness, and medium or firm for the noodle texture because the broth is hot, noodles will still continue to soften after being served. Staffs are polite and service oriented. Some might not prefer the type of dining area they have but we love it.
I hope they change the worn out curtains infront of the counter type dining table. Some are already worn out. No restrooms inside restaurant but the Mall have restrooms. Elevators and escalators are available and pay parking at...
Read moreLove the atmosphere. You get your own private booth to dine. Perfect if your dining alone. Place is open 24 / 7 which is also a plus. Not a whole lot on the menu, but that's fine and is to be expected. You're basically here for the ramen, of which you can customise; hardness of your ramen noodle, type of chashu, broth saltiness, spicy level, garlic etc. The ramen was pretty nice, portion was a bit small though, but I guess it's cheaper than other 'authentic' ramen places in bangkok. I'm giving this review a 4 stars instead of 5 because the sidedish (pork) was a bit disappointing and the ice green tea was non refillable and pretty...
