HONGMIN MBK 香味 — Restaurant in Wang Mai Subdistrict

Went on 27/9/25 once landed in Bangkok. Always love their good, affordable Thai Chinese food. Ordered their crabs, fish, cabbage and morning glory. Their crabs with garlic was done perfectly and when pair woth warm rice, it was so so good. Next was the cabbage in fish sauce, it was also done so well that we spare nothing behind! But through my carelessness, I had a fish bone stuck in my throat while enjoying the fried fish. I was in agony . Their service staff Mai was attentive and spotted on my agonising moments.-She quickly gave me a bowl of warm rice and reassure me. After noticing this did not help me, Mai gave me a bolw of hot porridge. This help me and I manage to get the bone out. I am so grateful to her!! Will go back to this...

First time to try, and I think is gonna be last time. Actually I just tried only 2 dishes and those were nothing special just simple ones. But what I get that quite disappointed. All pieces of fish were so fishy and after I cut it I saw the flesh of the fish were all black.I knew immediately that this part of fish usually would not use because is very strong smell. Horrible experience. Overpriced and mediocre food with terrible service. Long waiting time for food even though only two tables are occupied (this is a tell tale sign of things to come). Vegetables are cold and over cooked, cashew chicken comes with only five pieces of chicken. Terribly overpriced rude service and very mediocre food.
