KFC is a brand that needs no introduction, famous for its crispy fried chicken and an array of sides. But if you’ve ever had KFC outside the U.S., you know that quality can be a mixed bag. While this location at MBK doesn’t do anything exceptional, it does at least deliver on what matters most: the chicken.

The Wing Zabb is the standout here, offering a crispy, spicy, and flavorful bite that surpasses the standard fried chicken. While some may find the regular chicken a bit pungent, perhaps gamey even, it’s not an issue for me. However, the sides are another story. In my experience, KFC abroad often struggles with sides, and this location is no exception. They feel like an afterthought, lacking the same care put into the chicken.

As for the restaurant itself, it’s not a place you go for the atmosphere—it’s simply a fast-food joint in MBK. And MBK as a mall? Not the most stellar location. The girl at the counter seemed to be in a fight with all customers as they just dont seem to get things right. Customers in front of us complained bc tbeir orders were inaccurate an there was a loud fihht about it which made it uncomfortable to be there already. Then we ordered and after we payed they realized they ran out of chicken burgers. She said we need to pick an alternative which basically only included changing to a fish burger. We decided to change to something with chicken and agreed to paying 9 Baht more which we did. She then proceeded to take away our drink bc she said the new things we picked didn't include it. When I asked why she would rather throw it away then give it to a customer who she inconvenienced already she was rude and said that's how their combos are. Additionally, just getting to order to have an unfriendly experience took forever as evrry customer seemed to encounter issues and only one cashier was open. I thought the world famous cold chicken served worst KFC was KFC Japan. but unfortunately I found the worst one here in MBK. what's wrong with this place. my son order a box combo but they said no fries no more. then asked me you have a choice of mashed potato or bread. so my son said mashed potato. in spite of their own problem, they said extra charge of 16baht. I said you don't have the fries that is not my problem. still you charge extra amount? she said yes. then we sat down and start eating. and people ordered right after us sat next to us and they have french fries on their dish. I will be patient if that is my order but why they have to prejudice toward my son? I went back to the counter and explain what happened in front of other people then after few minute argument, she threw fries toward me. this place should be punished... I didn't eat nasty fries anyway. you did not only lost cost of fries. you lost trust of human-being.
