Flavor Shantao — Restaurant in Wat Phraya Krai Subdistrict

This was honestly one of the best meals of my entire life. I’m still dreaming of it. I don’t write many Google reviews but just had to with this one because it’s small, unassuming and I never would have come here if not across from my hotel (and a nice google map photo).

Showed up just before closing on a Sunday night. Two other tables of Thai customers (it’s a small restaurant). No English spoken, sat down and pointed to some pictures on the menu. I was on my way to my hotel with my girlfriend, we came from walking through several night food markets but nothing good really. Suddenly we came across a very small but good looking place, it is worth mentioning that my girlfriend is from China and so we decided to try it because the restaurant is a Chinese restaurant. Of the dishes we’ve ordered, the oyster pancake was the best!! They were super generous with the oysters and they were all very fresh. The chilli goes so well with the pancakes. Their soup dumplings were also super juicy and flavourful.

Also, their radish side dish is mind blowing. The owner says it’s their own special Mix of ingredients and sauces, which explains why I’ve never tasted such delicious pickled radish. I will come again just to have another taste of their...
