If you think it is a miniature theme park, you could be disappointed. Yes, it has a Ferris wheel and it has a "horror house", but that's about it in terms of pay rides. It does offer a varieties of restaurants, eateries, and shops selling local stuff and foods. It also has a super market where you can buy live sea food and have cooks making them for you for no extra charge. There is also a small food court where cooked foods are relatively cheaper than the ones on the river bank. Transportation means is rather limited as I believe the majority of tourists come here by boat. Yet at night, with limited guidance, finding your way to catch a boat could be confusing. Read moreAfter a few night in downtown Bangkok we were looking for a slightly different vibe. We found Asiatique Waterfront on google maps and decided to check it out.
We discovered a very chique set up. Lots of shops and restaurants along with many tourist options. (Sky wheel, boat ride, pirate ship dinner, etc.)
