A Heartwarming Indian Food Experience in the Heart of Bangkok! From the very first day of our trip, this restaurant became a part of our Bangkok story. I honestly didn’t expect to find veg biryani this delicious outside India—it was flavorful, perfectly spiced, and soul-satisfying. The real charm, though, lies in the warmth of the owner—Uncle is such a kind soul who truly cares about every customer.
We also tried their pani puri—it had a unique twist but was absolutely addictive! On our last day, we came back again (couldn’t resist) and had the prawns biryani. So fresh, perfectly cleaned, and full of taste. The service was quick, and they even customize the spice level based on your preference—such a thoughtful touch.
For fellow Desi food lovers who find it hard to adjust abroad, this place is a true savior. It’s located in Asiatique river side, which adds to the whole experience with its lively atmosphere. And if you can’t make it in person, just order on Grab before 10 PM (they close at 11).
Ahh, and one more lovely gesture—Uncle noticed we were struggling to find veg food elsewhere and even gave us a sign to show locals, making it easier to communicate our needs. Looks like number 17 attached for ppl who might need veg food.
Last but not the least TEA😋
This isn’t just a meal—it’s comfort, love, and home in every bite. Highly,...
Read moreHello sir, I saw you replied to my wife’s review. I want to answer your comment and also clarify few things: First of all, we had NOT ordered curd, we had only ordered aloo paratha, then you asked us whether we would like to have it with curd or raita.. Asking this question obviously means curd or raita is served with paratha (just like everywhere else). So we said curd will be fine. But then as we saw you added additional 75 TBH in the bill for curd, so I just asked you why didn’t you inform before that curd will be chargeable, and I was NOT asking for any “Discount”! Even at this point, you could have politely apologised and said that you forgot to inform/tell us, we would have been ok. But instead, you arrogantly replied that it’s already mentioned in the menu and asked me why I didn’t check the menu.. Also on top of that you kept arguing and being ignorant about your customer’s concern. This attitude of yours is what I only didn’t like, but food was great. If you think it doesn’t matter and you don’t care, then please remember, god is always watching...
Read moreOne of the most pathetic places to have food. Zero on hospitality. Only and Only concerned about Money and how to mint more from customers.. almost all customers were shouting for over delayed food service. I was with 2 kids and was made to wait for 20mins just for some onion. Requested the owner to charge for stuff but provide quick service.., which he did and provided onion instantly. :-)
Somehow I feel this shop would have no repeat customers, running only because of its location and Indian customers in good number. Staff not allowed to even give a straw/glass/ice-cube etc to customers without approval of owner. So until owner is done with taking orders and talking to other customers, one has to wait for all petty stuff while the food gets cold.!!
Tip: "Indian Darbar" another Indian restaurant is just about 100 meters from this one and staff and Chef is super approachable and provides great service with authentic Indian taste and overall less costly than...
