Went for dessert and coffee while staying nearby. Food: 2/10. That kind of toast is usually soaked and soft, however, it was dry inside with little sauce. The black coffee was BURNT and impossible to drink. Service: 1/10. They got us our order but the waiter just dropped it and walked away without talking to us or giving us the chance to ask for tissue. The table was unstable and it spilt our bad coffee. I used their restroom. Horrible experience. They had some sort of blue product on the floor and everywhere i thought they had just finished cleaning. The waiter saw me go in. 1 min later i suffocated and felt dizzy, couldn’t breathe!! Whatever they left all over the toilet was meant to be wiped away. Highly chemical and not safe at all Wouldn’t come again.

Came across this little home away from home . When we fists Walked In we were treated by smiles and. Warm sense about the place,brick concrete wood and steel , all combined to give a modern but comfortable establishment . The name on the door was a bit disceiving as once the menus were presented we found a quaint well priced cafe offering many types of food . Soon after ordering the place seemed to fill up with the local offices as the clock strikes meal time . Overall the food presented was well prepared and drinks were well priced snd tasty. A definite place to revisit and explore more ! What was nice to see was the owners or those in charge on the floor snd involved in the operations .

Home Cake Cafe is a great local cafe/restaurant. They serve a variety of Thai and western meals that are tasty and reasonably priced (average around 90-110 baht). They also have good coffee, cakes, and the food service is very quick and friendly. It can become a bit crowded and noisy on the weekends when the school kids from Assumption and their families come to run around, and in my experience the kitchen usually closes around 8:30pm.

I think when people say "good prices" they need to say whether they mean in relation to their Western hometown city, or compared to local places. Because the prices at Home Cake are not good in relation to other restaurants serving common Thai dishes. Even the smoothies are double what you find elsewhere. Sure the food is fine, nice place in general absolutely, but the menu is definitely geared toward foreigners because locals wouldn't...
