An unforgettable dining experience at Stage Restaurant Bangkok. Chef Jay went above and beyond by crafting a personalized menu for us—every dish was a masterpiece, both in presentation and flavor.
The journey began with refined and creative bites, followed by a beautifully fresh oyster, then an exquisite lobster dish. The highlight for me was the homemade pasta with black truffle—rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The dry-aged duck breast and the indulgent beef Rossini were executed flawlessly.
Dessert was nothing short of art: a carrot creation with caviar—bold, surprising, and incredibly balanced—followed by a delightful selection of petit fours.
Each plate delivered elegance, texture, and precision. The flavor combinations were thoughtful and refined, showcasing Chef Jay’s incredible talent and vision. The service throughout the evening was impeccable—attentive yet discreet.
This is easily one of my favorite Michelin-starred restaurants in Bangkok. A true must-visit for food lovers. Highly...
Read moreRead moreHidden in backyard, a nice, small modern restaurant. Bistro style seating - not so comfortable. Naked table, cutlery on the table is very unhygienic. Water from Norway far away is not environmental acceptable. Very, very long waiting 40 min for first dish. The neighbour table got bread, not us. The food is good - 90|100. 6 course menu for 3,400 Baht net (100 EUR) - also the one small amuse gueules is one of the 6 courses. Very strange. A sausage in the gourmet tasting menü (looks like Suhring copy) is funny, but doesn't match the pricing. Main course some small slices of steak as you get it in any steak restaurant. It pretends to be a French restaurant.I don't understand. Is it enough to serve Baba au Rhum to proof that? Shellfish allergy is respected but they think mussels are shellfish (back to school) The winelist shows (only) 8 red wines. We ordered one. Wanted to order a second bottle. Not available. The service is trying hard, but hospitality seems to...
Very excited to try this new restaurant!
Located in a small cul de sac between Ekkemai 19 and 21, this small 35 seat restaurant is very chic, modern but elegant with warm blue walls and double height main ceiling. Very relaxing but the best thing is the ultra modern but very small kitchen that is 100% viewable by all diners to see the very talented Thai chefs work their magic. The culinary team has all been classic French cuisine trained but the food is modern and contemporary with a fun twist.
The service is very attentive and friendly lead by the very welcoming Louis who clearly takes pride in serving fantastic food and wine to satisfied diners. The menu is small but adequate and the wine list is also small but contains very well selected labels at a good price.
Ekkemai certainly welcomes this professional, high quality and enjoyable...
