The first floor is a cafe with nice traditional Tunisian seating, and the second floor is the restaurant. I ordered the Brika and lamb couscous.

The couscous came in spicy both times though I told them I don't want spicy, but maybe my tolerance level isn't as good as locals. The lamb didn't taste good either I ate less than 1/4 of my plate. It was over priced as well (I went to another place in La Marsa called LArbe Couscous or Couscous tree and that one isn't even comparable to this and its WAY cheaper). The plate of couscous is around 24 DT (compared to the other place mentioned above for 8 DT) and the Brika was7 DT (were u can order a Brika in halq AlWaad for probably less than 2 DT). They gave me a free tee to compensate the spiciness of my food though so that was nice, and the head of waiters was very...

DON'T GO TO MRABET RESTAURANT❌️❌️❌️❌️❌️

I visited this restaurant first time for a breakfast with friends and it was nice and so good. On the second time, I went with my family yesterday for Iftar and it was a surprise. The service was rubbish, they barely accepted us (saying that they don't accept without reservation but we called quite a few times and they didn't answer), the waiters looked at us very strangely while laughing, we really felt uncomfortable. In addition we paid 95TND per person but they did not serve us the same amount as the tables around us.

I will never return to this place. It's the worst experience of my life and I really don't...

El Mrabet Cafe is a hidden gem in the Medina of Tunis, offering a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a splendid panoramic view. The staff's kindness and genuine hospitality create a warm and inviting environment. The menu showcases delightful Tunisian and Mediterranean dishes, prepared with locally sourced ingredients. The cafe's tasteful interior design and soft lighting enhance the intimate ambiance. The real treat, however, is the breathtaking vista of the Medina. El Mrabet Cafe is a must-visit for an unforgettable experience that blends exceptional service, mouthwatering cuisine, and captivating...

Breakfast at La Madina? Without hesitation, I used to recommend El Mrabet. But now, I have to think twice before doing so. The breakfast options have been reduced, the service has slowed down, and there were some annoying details, like a piece of cling film on the deli meat, an empty sugar packet served with the coffee, no napkins provided, and having to remind the waiter twice to bring me cutlery. These small details are what make the difference between mediocre, good, and excellent service. El Mrabet still, not the best, but a good option.
