Cafe İstanbul — Restaurant in Üsküdar

i would advise steering clear of this place - perhaps because we were clearly foreigners - perhaps because we simply had the wrong person at the till. Got overcharged - the amount wasn’t much, but enough to make me and my wife feel like they we were simply there to be cheated. It’s offensive, and when we questioned it, we were told that they charged for heated milk, a tiny jugful, which was almost as expensive as the coffee we ordered. The money was the least of it. On its own you could put it down to the experience and never go to the place again, but after a difficult few days in Istanbul, you get the impression the whole city is soulless. There is business, and there is poor hospitality. At any rate, there are better cafes, and better people...
