Mengen Lokantası — Restaurant in Üsküdar

One of the best local Restaurants in Uskudar, to enjoy Ottoman Cuisine. The food was delicious, and the service was magnificent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Its not usually a place were tourists would dine. 50TL will fill 2 people. The bulgar, aubergine, mixed veg kofte and so much more to spoil your taste buds. The owner spoke English and gave a 10 star service. If you could find this restaurant in the middle of the busy bazaar do try the food out. I am so glad Iskender from the dried fruit shop reccomended...

Bugün denediğim mükemmel ötesi restoran. Uzun süredir bu kadar güzel ev yemekleri yememiştim. Her şey çok güzeldi. Porsiyonlar çok büyük. Kesinlikle doymama ihtimaliniz yok. Bir çorba bir ana yemek ve pilav ile çok rahat dolabilirsiniz. Menünün fotoğrafını bırakıyorum. Üstelik fiyatlar çok uygun. O kadar güzel lezzete ve büyük porsiyonlara bu fiyatlar gerçekten uygun.

Dönerleri inanılmaz güzel. Beğenmeme ihtimaliniz yok çok net söylüyorum. Deneyin denettirin. Kuru fasülyelerini güveçte yapıyorlar ve çok çok lezzetli. Bunun dışında mengen kebabı harika bir lezzetti. İslim kebabı da aynı şekilde. Hangisinin tadına baksak tadı damağımızda kalıyordu. Ben uzun süredir bu kadar güzel bir ezogelin çorbası içmedim. Sabah 5 de çorba servisine başlıyorlarmış. Sabah erken çorba içmek isterseniz kesinlikle uğramanız gereken yer burası. Akşam 9:30 a kadar açıklar ama yemek erken biterse daha erken kapanıyorlarmış. Döner çok erken bitiyormuş. Gitmek denemek isterseniz ona göre gidin.

Ayrıca pazar günleri kapalı. Yakın zamanda açabilirlermiş. Umarım açarlar.
