Incredible hospitality, great minimalist unpretentious tasteful decor. No loud music, no smoking indoors, just great coffee and a friendly barista.

I ended up purchasing a bag of Ethiopian Gigesa Natural beans. And boy oh boy I wish I purchased 3 and be able to keep them fresh. One of the most consistent, rich roasts i have had a pleasure to taste.

From the moment you open the bag, during the grinding in my manual grinder, until the last sip it is a journey.

Note: I came in with my brother and we had to choose two beans for two brews and I was quite interested in Gigesa natural as well but we decided three cups would be too much at 5pm. But barista was very kind to give us a complimentary brew on the house. Try their Kenya and you will be greatly pleased as well since it was one of the most interesting and intense Kenya beans I have tried as well. I have been brewing 3rd wave coffee for the past 7 years and I tried uncountable different bags of beans, i have my go to roasters. But if I were a resident of Istanbul Borderline...

The upsides good coffee. normal. nothing special. it would be great if they add foam to iced latte. they have toilet they have sockets.

The downsides The waiter kept wanting to take our food. Come up with signs - do not disturb. I don't want to be disturbed while I'm eating. It's especially strange to take away coffee when there's 1/3 of the drink in the glass. I came here for pistachios croissant. Unfortunately they didn't have it. Instead I tried almond croissant. Not bad. they include service fee 10%. happily they warn it in advance. thanks that it is not hidden. we ordered coffee with mango puree. the puree was more like jam. very sweet. call it jam and there will be no questions. why say that it is mango puree? I do not recommend (I eat mango very often, this is not the taste...

Kahve çeşitlerinden ve bir türlü süt türünden vb çok fazla anlamadığım ve kapuçino içmek usandığım için bu mekande bir sıcak çukulata siparişi verdim. Sipariş baya bir geç geldi, hatta sipariş verebilmek içinde az biraz fazla bekledim. Sıcak çukulata baya bir sıvıydı, sıcak çukulataya pek benzediği söylenemez, o beklediğim çukulata yoğunluğu yoktu ve sıcak değildi. Bildiğin soğuk sayılırdı hatta. Durumu söyleyince ne mutlu ki kırmadılar ve biraz daha sıcak bir servis alabildim. Fincanın yanında kurabiye molekülü gibi bir şey var pek hatırlayamasam da... Evet beni kırmadılar ama... Bir de bir masanın etrafında toplanmış doyasıya tv prodüksüyonlarından, 18 yaşından beri bu işlerin içinde olduğundan, londra dan, bilmeme nerde bilmem ne eğitimi aldığından, kadrajdan, yeni reklam projesi alacağından, ona ekibi aklında tasarladığından falan bahseden bir grup vardı ki konulara ben de hakim oldum. Evet heyecan dolu ama biraz daha...
