Federal Coffee — Restaurant in Şişli

I’m very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I came here because I had a great visit two years ago, but this time was completely different.

I came with my siblings and we called the waitress (a young woman). I greeted her politely with “Good morning,” but she barely responded, had a cold expression, and didn’t smile. I asked her about the club sandwich, and she replied that it’s only available in the afternoon. Then, before I could finish placing my order, she suddenly walked away without saying anything. It was extremely disrespectful behavior.

We waited for about 5 minutes, but she never came back or acknowledged us. In the end, we left the restaurant and went somewhere else. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially toward tourists. I’m sure not all the staff are like this, but this experience left a very negative impression. I hope the management takes this seriously and works on improving...

Very overrated place. The food is okay, but not great, for these prices and ratings I expected more. We had croque madame (they call it madame federal) and menemen which was too salty. Sandwich didn’t impress me too, they used the cheapest tasteless cheese and I only tasted ham (it was good) and bread. Coffee is below average, we had syphon and it was too watery. On top of that they brought coffee in old cups with cracked paint.

If you’re a real coffee lover, you probably won’t be impressed. But if you just want to sit and work while drinking a cappuccino, it’s not a bad choice in the morning (when it’s not too crowded and the music is nice and...

New generation coffee shop, the pioneer of Turkish market, did NOT meet my high quality coffee expectations. It should be because the founder of this shop Sam Cevikoz is no longer partaking any role in this business.

The coffees we had were not very good. It was just at mediocre quality. Prices are okay. Interiors are very fine and modern. Presentation is great, ambiance is cool and vibrant. Barista knows which glass to be used for each coffee recipe. Personnel is professional.

Slogan on the wall reflects the establishment motto and the origins of the coffee culture brought from Australia.
