Avocado Bar — Restaurant in Şişli

We visited this place with my boyfriend because I really like concept of this place Food is very tasty! But service soooo bad, staff just ignore us! we said hello to them-they just look at us very strange and say nothing 🫣 never seen service like this Then we just seat and order food by showing pictures (because no one speak English and even not try to open Google translate) and waiter bring fork, knife and glass only for me and totally forgot about my boyfriend (we order 2 dish-one for him, one for me) Then she brought food, put one plate next to me, second next to my bf and didn’t say even “Bon appetite” ( I really believe it’s easy to say, it’s intentional phrase))) also she saw that he doesn’t have services but do nothing and just went)))

+she bring drinks that we ordered not with food, but after we already was too thirsty, thought she just forgot about it and paid our bill

Today time we hoped that waiter changed and gave this place one more chance, this time there was another waiter (male) We came, said hello and asked if they have free table for breakfast, he gave us strange look, also say nothing and just went… we decided to go to another place (shift by 23.07.2023)

Imagine a new exchange student invites you and some collegues to breakfast…s/he is nice, s/he is definetly cool to hang out with, s/he probably spent the whole morning preparing…but you realize cooking is not her/his strongest skill and now imagine that after some akward moments later giving polite compliments, s/he wants to charge 20€/p for the breakfast…well thats exactly how i felt leaving the avocado bar.

Had to ask 3x for milk for my filter coffee and got charged an extra 45 tl, so in total paid 150-160 tl for a filter coffee that I would not even call coffee compared to starbucks(89 tl including milk).

The spinach eggs had far more spinach in it than eggs(looks cool, but are not really eggs).

And if that is not enough, got charged an optional 10% extra Service fee for not really what I would call a good service(people at the table next to me even mentioned that they got charged 15%)

I came here because I wanted to have something light and healthy quickly before my meeting. The order took forever to arrive at my table even though it was just me and one other person sat at another table. I even thought of leaving because it took a very long time I doubted it would be worth the wait. When it finally arrived, I thought the dish was delicious but I was surprised to see that the mushrooms were cooked in something similar to a coconut cream or milk, which is definitely not the light lunch option I was hoping for, I do not recall that being mentioned on the menu, I was expecting grilled mushrooms only.
