Worst place we’ve seen in Istanbul. We ordered drinks and wanted some bites to go with it - falafel and hummus was the choice and I couldn’t say which one was worse. The menu says “hummus Lebanon style” or “hot hummus” (have I missed something? Hummus is hot?). We went for the Lebanon style thinking nothing could go wrong… MISTAKE! This was a kind of hard pate with no taste at all. My husband thought it was missing salt but we added some and made it worse, nothing like Lebanon hummus but, ladies and gentlemen, listen to this. We called the waiter, told him that was not hummus, he took the plate with him close to the cashier and tried it twice with the same spoon and brought it back to the table saying that was perfect and that was their hummus recipe. We then said we were not going to have it so he offered bringing the “hot hummus” and we agreed. He brought the same tasteless pate but in a hot surface as if it was now easier to spread. Again, we left it there. The falafel was eatable but not recommended at all. If you pass by and need a bottle of water, yes go up and enjoy the views of the mosque. Other than that, avoid this place...
Read moreI congratulate Mr. Kerem for his professionalism and other people working there he was very kind. All through, i went there for shisha and the price was little bit higher like ( 250 neighbour ) 400 tl but it was worth it because neighbour had cheap shisha equipment , if you are shisha smoker and have big expectations I recommend you to give them a try you will like it, they know what to do. Also they were very helpful even we didn t pay a lot of money on consumatipn ( around 1400 tl ) the thing i didn t like it was 10% add on total i ask them if it is for service they said no , it was for taxes , i wouldn’t mind it for 10% if it was said before or somewhere.
Overall i still will come even with shady 10% thingy because people there was so kind and very professional always a smile in their face
I wish Mr. Kerem and workes very best and thank them for their service ❤️
And the place was best for view don t waste your time in neighbour even it looks bigger it is not bigger than this restaurant.
Thank you 10/10 5 start...
Read moreWe were looking for a lovely view with fresh fish for our last evening in Istanbul. We landed on Bosfor Terrace & Grill - and we are very glad we did. We were welcomed by, what I assume to be the manager or owner, who brought us in right away with nothing but smiles. He got us situated with where to sit. (Advise to get there earlier if you want to ensure you have a table against the glass for the view). Our waiter was Ahmed Soliman, and he made the experience ten times better! So helpful, so kind, so fun! If you go, ask if he's there so he can be your server! He will make your dining experience go from good to EXCELLENT! He helped us navigate the menu and offered suggestions and it was amazing. We had meze and sea bass. Only thing I would suggest to owner/kitchen is to give pita for the dips, rather than sliced baguette. Dipping crust in authentic meze seemed strange... Outside of that suggestion, I wouldn't change anything. Thank you Bosfor T & G, and thank you Ahmed Soliman for a wonderful last dinner in Istanbul. We...
