Escape Club İstanbul — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

My recent experience at a club in Istanbul left me both frustrated and disappointed. This establishment not only engages in shady practices but also attempted to overcharge us for a subpar experience.

Upon entering, I couldn’t help but notice the numerous glowing reviews online, which now seem highly suspicious. It’s clear that the club has rigged its reviews to lure unsuspecting visitors. The truth is far from the illusion painted by those fake ratings.

The first red flag came when we ordered two mixed drinks, and the bill arrived at a staggering $50. These were not premium cocktails, but rather mediocre concoctions that should have been reasonably priced. When we questioned the exorbitant charges, the staff was unapologetic and insisted that the price was non-negotiable.

To make matters worse, after we voiced our dissatisfaction with the bill, the club staff promptly kicked us out, displaying a complete lack of professionalism and respect for their patrons. This was not only embarrassing but also a blatant display of their disregard for customer satisfaction.

I strongly advise anyone considering a visit to this club in Istanbul to exercise caution and read beyond the manipulated reviews. Beware of the overpriced drinks, rude staff, and the overall scammy atmosphere. Your hard-earned money and time are better spent elsewhere in this vibrant city, where genuine experiences and hospitality...

The absolute lie of a reply I have read is baffling! We arrived in Turkey that afternoon so how could we have been there earlier? I showed you the tickets with the times and you got angry when proven wrong, I then showed your security team which they were baffled at your claims.

It was a group of 4 not 8 like you claim you liar 😂 again check your CCTV even your security team was baffled at your actions after you tried to fight me too and got caught out lying! They came back to speak to us 4 not 8 and they admitted they made a mistake and we weren't the people you thought we were.

So pls dont lie on a public page, we weren't drunk and just refused to pay your bogus amount that you mistook us for but paid the correct amount in the end.

Mistook us for someone else and added more money to our bill. The manager tried to start a physical fight as I told him the total was wrong to the actual figure which security stepped in...(Tried to charge a group of 4 guys £450 for beers 😂 opposed to the actual figure of £240 for 8 beers pp), all we had to drink were beers here so that's all you need to know.

Would avoid this place and was also told by the bouncers that the manager runs up the bill as they add more drinks to people's total as he has about 40 - 50 girls working for him and adds their drinks onto random...

Where do I begin... We attended Escape on 18/04/25. Prior to attending the club we contacted the club and spoke to Sahin Celik to put us on VIP table and negotiated cost of the drinks etc. When we got to Istanbul we heard some negative comments about night clubs in Taskim Square in general, so we were in 2 minds about attending Escape but after speaking to one then staff member's at our hotel, he highly recommend we should go. All I have to say is WHAT A NIGHT! It definitely goes down as one of our best nights ever! Sahin and his team really took care of us (as promised). We were given one of the best tables in the club, we were given a choice of having any bottle of spirit we wanted plus free food. The club was so lively and an amazing atmosphere, great music and an excellent vible! Both my cousin n I, highly recommend this club. The club drinks and Shisha are fairly priced and you just can't go wrong for the money. We look forward to going back in summer and relive the vibe at Escape club Istanbul.
