I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place forced my hand. I don’t know what kind of joke this restaurant is trying to play on people, but it’s definitely not a funny one.

First off, the staff were unbelievably rude and I’m not just talking about being inattentive or slow. I mean full on dismissive, unfriendly, and downright impolite. No greetings, no eye contact, no effort. It felt like we were a burden just for walking in. One waiter even rolled his eyes when we asked for a menu. Seriously?

The restaurant was almost completely empty, which made total sense after we experienced what came next. The food took forever to arrive over 45 minutes for some cold, tasteless, half hearted attempt at Turkish cuisine. What we got looked like it had been sitting out for hours and tasted even worse. The meat was rubbery, the rice was mushy, and the salad looked like it had been recycled from someone else’s table. It was almost impressive how bad everything was.

Honestly, I’ve had better food at airport vending machines. If this place is trying to scare tourists off Turkish food for life, they’re doing an excellent job. It’s a miracle they’re still in business ,though judging by the emptiness, maybe not for long.

Exceptional restaurant with traditional Turkish specialties. We had variety of starters and almost everything from the menu (we were a party of 15), and there had not been one thing that we did not like. Food was fresh, prepared in a way to preserve all the juices and taste, not over spiced, offered in hot / spicy and less option. We had traditional yoghurt, as well, and fantastic pie. We had a very disappointing meal at this Turkish restaurant in Istanbul. It started with undercooked fries — they were still raw in the center. To be fair, they did replace one of our orders, but the experience went downhill from there.

We ordered mushroom soup but were served lentil soup instead. When we asked about the mix-up, the staff insisted it was mushroom, which was frustrating and unprofessional. The hummus tasted old, like it had been sitting in the fridge for days definitely not fresh.

By the time the main course arrived, the kofte was cold, as if it had been sitting out too long before being served.
