Ser-i Derya Cafe — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Average restaurant serving various wraps of meat and fish. The presentation is not great as their neighbours - it's a simple meal served on a plain plate. But - the fish wrap is amazing. Not overly salty and juicy with freshly grilled mackerel meat. The best seats in the house is just above on the terrace overlooking the pier. The seats are tight and just limited to 8 or so seats. It's pretty messy because the staff does not clean up immediately. The other tables without view feels claustrophobic. The prices have changed much with the sharp inflation, as the menu has apparent erasable price sheet. Please check the prices carefully...

The fish wrap was okay. The chicken wrap was a huge disappointment. Although the döner was made of good chicken meat, it wasn’t seasoned at all. It was so incredibly tasteless. I couldn’t even taste salt on the chicken döner. I also would have liked to at least have some sort of sauce in or with the wrap to make it less dry. This is the place which we ended up by mistake as we had to catch nearby ferry and thank God we made the mistake. The breakfast Egg with sausage tomato was mind-blowing and we promised to come back again. Second visit and we ordered fish sandwich and it was OMG, crispy from outside and soft from inside.
