The coffee was excellent, but the experience was completely ruined by the staff. One employee, in particular, was extremely rude and seemed intent on provoking us just to get a reaction. It was clear they were deliberately being unhelpful and disrespectful, which made the visit very uncomfortable. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing role.
I visited the café around 12 PM, excited to try their coffee, but the experience was far from pleasant. It started at the ordering counter when the barista asked what type of beans we wanted. When I asked what options they had, he responded very rudely, saying, ‘Go there and check the options yourself.’
The delay in getting our order was another issue — it took almost 30 minutes. When the coffee finally arrived, my friend asked if it came in a takeaway cup. Instead of a simple answer, the barista responded harshly, saying, ‘You didn’t ask for it in the first place.’ My friend tried to clarify, but the barista rudely replied, ‘What did you just say?’ It felt like he was trying to start an argument.
This was my first and definitely my last visit to this café. The waiter, who was thin with a light mustache, made the entire experience frustrating and uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate that such poor service overshadowed what could’ve been a good...
Read moreParca Caffe has become my go-to spot for coffee in Istanbul. The quality of their coffee is exceptional, and the variety of beans they offer is impressive. The atmosphere of the café is cozy and welcoming, providing a warm ambiance that's perfect for unwinding or catching up with friends. It truly feels like a home away from home.
While my overall experience has been fantastic, there are a couple of areas that could use improvement. The quality of food could be elevated to match the high standards of their coffee. Additionally, with many baristas on staff, I've noticed a difference in the taste and steaming of the coffee depending on who is preparing it. Some baristas exhibit less performance than others, which can lead to inconsistency in the overall experience.
Despite these minor drawbacks, Parca Caffe remains my favorite cafe in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch...
Read moreGreat coffee, music and Woman Life Freedom mural outside the cafe. Disappointing experience. We have been staying in Karakoy for a week and have been eating take out pastries from different bakers mainly the infamous Galata Simitcisi with coffee in various cafes and they have welcomed it and supported their own local businesses. Even if they sold their own pastries. Its a shame Parsa was an exception to this experience and asked us to pack up our pastries even though they didn’t sell a good range of pastries themselves. After a week of seeing a sense of community in this area… I almost thought they were joking at first A little neighbourhood sense of community goes a long way in promoting...
