coming from a lebanese person this place is nowhere near authentic lebanese food. nothing tastes like lebanese food, the chefs are not lebanese, never been to lebanon, weren't trained by a lebanese chef and never tasted actual lebanese food(information came from branch manager when asked) so how can they make authentic true lebanese food? it tastes totally different and not even good, they are missing out on various key ingrediants. Tried tabboule it was misssing out on a lot of stuff to taste like tabboule ( verry little onions and tomatoes, no mint at all, burgul is nowhere to be found) hommos was so thick that you can literally chew it as if it's a steak, falafel had parsley and coriander all inside of it it was green on the inside and if you are lebanese or tasted lebanese falafel you know that this is not falafel not even close to it, grilled chicken sandwich was supposed to have garlic inside of it but this garlic had 0 taste and looked like white water. finally the dessert was mafroukeh one of my favs in lebanon but the semolina (سميد) was so dry and since when does mafroukeh is topped with walnuts, raisins, pistachio and honey? it is supposed to have fried almonds, pinenuts, and cashews with ashta/kashta/قشطه. I don't recommend visiting this...
Read moreWe have visited this restaurant 2 times, once on Wednesday and once on Friday. Our experience on Wednesday was amazing, we could not stop talking about how tasty the food and drinks are, my wife had falafel salad, which I also have tasted a little, and I loved it, altho normally I don't like it. Kebabs salads ayran(buttermilk with mint) was superb. Waitress looked tired and not in her best mood and attitude but we did not care for it, I understand it is a difficult job to be on your feet and you cant be smiling yo everybody. We tipped her hoping she would have slightly better rest of the day. The second experience on Friday was not half as good as the one on Wednesday. The taste was good at all, portions were small, dry and cold. I guess it is because of busy...
Read moreIt had been the place I went every time I visited Istanbul, but something has been changed a year ago, the service became terrible and the food became worse. Then they mixed up my order and brought chicken instead of limb. I ate one piece, realized that it was wrong and asked to change it to what I ordered. To which they replied that they would not change cause I tried it and I was supposed to notice that immediately. It was so rude of them. They agreed to change the meal only after a long discussion. Eventually they served very fatty, overroasted and...
