Discriminatory and Homophobic Experience!

My recent visit to Gekko was an absolutely horrible experience. Despite marketing themselves as the city's only techno bar, I can assure you that the music and the overall atmosphere in this place were anything but alternative. Firstly, let's address the outdated and discriminatory policy that still requires an equal gender ratio for entry into the bar. However, the true depths of this establishment's homophobia became shockingly clear during my visit. As my gay friends and I were enjoying our evening, we were confronted by the bar's employees. We were warned against our actions because they were kissing. When we inquired as to why we were being singled out, the initial response was denial of any homophobic behavior. However, the truth came out when the bar's bodyguard openly declared that this bar was not a place for "gay activities" or for the LGBTQ+ community. This was completely unacceptable. I urge anyone considering visiting this place in Bodrum to think twice. Supporting a place that openly discriminates against the LGBTQ+ community and enforces antiquated gender requirements is not only ethically questionable but also goes against the principles...

Techno clubs and bar are places where people come to have fun and where discrimination does not exist.

Gekko'ya yaptığım son ziyaret kesinlikle korkunçtu. Kendilerini şehrin tek tekno barı olarak pazarlamalarına rağmen buradaki müzik ve genel atmosfer alternatif olmaktan çok uzaktı. Öncelikle bara giriş için hâlâ eşit cinsiyet oranı arayan ayrımcı bir politikaları var. Ancak ziyaretim sırasında bu barın homofobisinin gerçek derinliği şok edici bir şekilde ortaya çıktı. Eşcinsel arkadaşlarımla birlikte akşamımızın tadını çıkarırken, birden bar çalışanları yanımıza geldi. İki erkek öpüştüğü için uyarıldık ve baya ayırdılar bizi. Neden uyarıldığımızın açıklanmasını istediğimizde ilk tavırları herhangi bir homofobik davranışın reddedilmesi oldu. Ancak barın koruması, buranın "eşcinsel aktiviteler" veya LGBTQ+ topluluğu için bir yer olmadığını açıkça dile getirdi. Elini kolunu sallayarak başka bir yere gidin dedi.
