I have stayed at this hotel 5 nights in the mid of summer. Although I made the reservation three weeks in advance, I was told by the person at the reception, I will be taken to another room next day. The next day, after I saw the room I will move to, I declined to stay there and moved back to the first room I stayed. The room I stayed first night, is actually one of the best rooms in the hotel. Some rooms have no windows, some rooms have extremely small bathrooms. It is good to ask for a room choice before reservation.||The hotel is on a narrow street that is hard to find, but hotel staff can pick you up from popular location. The room I stayed was ok, but the bathroom was really bad. For a three bed bedroom, the three pieces bathroom was led than 2 metersquare big. When you take shower, everything in the bathroom (from toothpaste to toilet paper) take shower as well. There it's a strong odour coming from the toilet all the time, and if you leave your bathroom door open, the odour fills into your room. One of the windows room was not opening, and the other one was opening little. The air in my room had to refresh very slowly. ||The TV did not work in the room, neither the phone. Internet, other than one day, worked well.||Breakfast is fine for this type of hotel. The view of the castle from the breakfast room is nice. ||The hotel has a great location, steps to the castle, bazaars and to the nightlife and walking distance to the beach.||Many things are broken in this hotel, like window knobs, shower covers. Sometimes the water does not get hot enough. Once I spotted a cockroach in the room, too.||If you are really tight on budget, then this hotel is ok, otherwise look for...
Read moreBrochure had photos of other hotels, false advertising (i.e. no pool, no wifi in our room etc). Bed was worn to the point that it was sagging to the floor. Disgustingly dirty Other guests were loud and inconsiderate No hair dryer Have to ask for toilet paper No room cleaning service (suprise!) No elevator Breakfast is small and you need to specifically ask for items No safe in rooms. Downstairs only had 1 lockbox that worked out of about 30. Cannot sleep in as the breakfast area was above our room so every time a chair was moved it made a loud noise No bedside tables Plug outlets are only on one side of the room (near the TV) - so if your charger isn't long enough to reach the TV cabinet, your phone must hang No one understands english, and can be a bit rude at times If you want to go to toilets at the breakfast area, you must go to another guest's room on that floor, which had dirty underwear lying in the shower View would have been nice from breakfast terrace if it wasn't for all the sheets etc being hung there Shower tap not in wall, so you can burn yourself on the hot water pipe quite easily. If you walk out of shower barefoot and stand on their mats, you will be left with loads of dirt and other people's hair on the bottom of your feet. Tablecloths were not cleaned, so you had the previous day's crumbs on your table...
Read moreThe hotel advertised this beautiful room with a "pool bar" but when we arrived the room was very dark, the mattress was probably the worst I ever slept on (very cheap springs that were sticking out), the "pool bar" only meant a bar on the roof (with no pool) and impossible to find.||||Did not sleep well at all. When we tried to take a nap, the staff was horribly loud, would bang doors and were not very friendly. Our room smelled very strongly of detergent products, the shower would not drain properly... need I say more. For the same price, we could have stayed at Hotel Gulbaba (which we had a few nights before), which I recommend instead.||||The only positive thing was the breakfast: they made our breakfast 10 minutes early because we had to leave (although I had to...
