Mandalin Bodrum — Restaurant in Bodrum

We went there due to Google recommend places to see in Bodrum central area. We did the reservation on-line because this option was available in Google. Once we went there at the entrance they told us that two man cannot enter the Bar, we told them that we did the reservation via Google and they said that they haven't received it yet. Once we showed the Google reservation sms they "allowed" us in. Once we got in first they didn't give us chairs because someone might have difficulties moving around but the place wasn't even 20% full by that time. Afterwards we asked for menu which we got but there were no prices in the menu which is illegal in Turkey. Anyways we gave our first orders and started enjoying the atmosphere by DJ. After about almost one hour the first security guard came to our table and asked my partner to put on the jacket because his arms were showing. We found this a bit odd but went for it, after some time he took it of because it was warm and my partner took his jacket off. Again another security guard came (which we believe it was the same one) and told him to put it on. We complained about this treatment because he was wearing sleeveless shirt while entering the bar too and it wasn't a problem by then but now apparently they we're having a problem. From the beginning to the end a horrible experience. As a foreigner they won't help you. If you are just guys they won't let you in, unless you are with equal amount of girls. Reservations required and when made still get refused. Conveniently the front staff cannot speak a lick of English. Once you finally get in you get served with alcohol that tastes like lighterfluid (your drink will not be what it states on the bottle). Rude and unwelcoming staff. I made a reservation on their system for one person which the system clearly allowed and accepted. Then when I arrived to the venue the bouncer wouldn’t let me in. He said that you need a female with you and can’t come solo. But the system lets you book a reservation for one. I asked to speak to the manager, he came and said the same. Then the bouncer said we are full up, but surely if I’ve booked prior on the system with a reservation then the system/venue would account for that in the numbers.
