Written by my husband Jeff: My wife and I were spending an evening in Istanbul walking through several areas. There are so many restaurants with great looking Turkish menus but we had spent a long day visiting the incredible sights and were looking for a place to relax as much as to eat. We saw this one restaurant down a bit off the busier streets that looked interesting. We looked at the menu and the owner and host, Cella, visited with us without urging us to come in. We decided “Oh lets just sit down and have a beer, and we can think about it.” Long story short, we had one of the finest restaurant visits on our long trip. We were first pleasantly surprised to be given Turkish flat bread and siyah zeytin ezmesi, or black olive paste. We ordered a Shepherds Salad and lamb Mutancana to share. They brought us baklava after our meal. Then, Cella’s brother, Antonio visited with us and then offered us Turkish coffee, tea or a number of other drinks, we opted for the tea. Everything was delicious, the wine was great and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Every employee (I believe family based), were attentive without being overbearing. They were not only super nice to us but showed a total respect for one another – which we appreciate. This was a perfect evening with great food and a very relaxing setting. Jeff and Deborah

I spent the MOST wonderful afternoon here with my mom after a sight-seeing tour. What a delightful respite from our stuffy 5 star hotel, and in the very best way! We were served the coldest beers in beautiful, iced mugs. We dined on stuffed grape leaves, the Shepard’s Salad, the kibbeh, and the eggplant kebab. Everything was wonderful, with a special mention to the salad; how fresh and delicious can something so simple be? The staff were attentive but not bothersome. We had a few drinks and a Turkish coffee, and I enjoyed a hookah; something I haven’t done in 20 years, dating back to my university days. I had sought out a hookah place that sells alcohol. I asked them to surprise me and I think I got their house blend, a berry mix of sorts. I don’t know what it was, but I enjoyed it for over an hour. The seating was SO comfortable and the outdoor fans and cool breeze offered such a welcome reprieve from the heat. The restroom is clean and I would dine here weekly if I could. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!!

Title: A Delightful Dining Exprience at blue bottle restaurant

Review:

I recently had the pleasure of dining atblue bottle restaurant, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening.

The first thing that struck me was the restaurant's elegant decor. The attention to detail and tasteful design created a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere. The lighting was just right, allowing for an intimate dining experience without feeling too dim or overly bright.

Moving on to the menu, I was impressed by the diverse range of culinary options available. Whether you're a fan of traditional dishes or looking for something more adventurous, blue bottle restaurant has something to satisfy every palate. The menu featured a delightful fusion of flavors, expertly crafted by their talented team of chefs.

Each dish I ordered was an absolute masterpiece. The presentation was immaculate, and the flavors were nothing short of exceptional. It was evident that the ingredients used were of the highest quality, resulting in dishes that were both visually stunning and incredibly delicious. The menu also showcased a thoughtful balance of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences.

Equally notable was the impeccable service provided by the restaurant staff. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food they served . They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions, creating a personalized dining experience that made me feel valued as a guest.

Lastly, the attention to detail extended to the overall dining experience. From the perfectly timed courses to the exquisite table settings, every aspect was meticulously executed. The restaurant's commitment to excellence was evident in every detail, leaving a lasting impression.

Overall, my experience at blue bottle restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of delectable cuisine, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service made for a truly memorable evening. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking an extraordinary dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend blue bottle restaurant] as a must-visit destination. Special thank to Emir for his complementary Turkish coffee and tea.

We rented a room in the hotel regented by the owners and we profoundly regretted it.

We came to istambul with my two grandparents (a one in a lifetime ocasion) and rented through booking. The room pictures did not show that there was no shower, but a jacuzzi. For someone else this wouldve been cool but my grandparents could not get into the tub. There were no pictures of the incredibly dangerous stairs and my grandmother actually fell twice while trying to get up to the room.

The staff were helpful and dinner was nice, but it made no sense for our family to stay in this place and potentially have an accident with my grandparents. Needless to say, we looked for a different option elsewhere. When we found it we talked with the owners to find a solution and get at least part of the money back (we were supposed to be there for a whole week and only spent a night) and he refused. This was so unfair, specially given that the pictures in booking were so misleading.

We wont ever come back and cant recommend it. This couldve been resolved in an amicable fasion and they chose to be greedy and keep the money....
