Begonville Mansion Oldcity — Hotel in Fatih

Great value for money. We got a triple bedroom for our family of 3. The room was good size, well decorated and a window seeing out to the street. Despite that it wasn't noisy even at busy times in the evening. The bathroom was modern and well lit. Rooms clean and tidy with daily room service to replenish shampoos, shower gels, toilet paper and towels. Breakfast was a sumptuous spread every day with a variety of cheeses, good tasting session of local sauces, jams and honey. Everyday there was also a new dish added to the spread. Staff are attentive to service and cordial. Special mention to Nur who served us with great attention, but we could not meet her the day we left and goodbye. About 10 mins walking distance to blue mosque, sultanahmet square, but 20 if with kids. The walk itself is very interesting as you can see many shops with their wares, underground but open cafes where men play tavla/backgammon or rummy with ceramic tiles called Okey. Kadirga park is next door offering a spot for kids to play and run about. Been on a vacation to turkey, and stayed at this beautiful place for 2days in istabul. It's the best hotel to stay in as it's very convenient to go to most of the tourist attractions by walk and the service was fantastic and the team were so helpful and great. Always there for any help and provided solutions within minutes. And also I loved their cruise package. It's so lovely, and memorable one for me. Мы останавливались в этом отеле с маленьким ребёнком, и сразу хочу предупредить родителей: если вы путешествуете с коляской, то этот отель будет крайне неудобен. Чтобы попасть в центр города, нужно подниматься в гору, а дороги в очень плохом состоянии. С коляской пройти невозможно, и нам большую часть времени приходилось носить ребёнка на руках.

Теперь о плюсах. Мы брали трёхместный номер, и он оказался действительно большим, просторным и очень чистым. Всё работало прекрасно — сантехника, кондиционер, электричество. В этом плане проживание прошло идеально, и номер оставил только положительные впечатления.

Интернет не работал.

Что касается завтрака — он приносится уже готовым, но, к сожалению, это не то, что мы ожидали. Было много разных соусов, блюда на любителя. При этом кофе / чай не входил в стоимость и его нужно было оплачивать отдельно.

Отдельно хочу отметить неприятный момент с рестораном при отеле. Нам пообещали 10% скидку, если мы будем обедать и ужинать там. Однако, когда пришло время платить, никакой скидки нам не сделали. Персонал уверял, что она якобы учтена, но мы внимательно проверили чек и поняли, что нас просто обманули.
