Paşa Döner Beyazıt — Restaurant in Fatih

They don’t tell the prices and outside they show the prices very low for kids menu but don’t tell anything about medium and big menu. Then they make a suggestion for the sauce and take one sauce for person to the table again without telling the price which is 16TL each, that in other places alone can cover one döner kebab. Here the price for one döner is 60TL which is absurdly ridiculous. They got different scam menus for tourists and real menu prices for turkish. In the end they tell that the price is all separate for each thing and take you a bunch of absurd money for a simple awful taste kebab, sauce and drinks. And a 10% fee that they don’t tell as well. NEVER EAT HERE!! It’s a place to trap the tourists in Isntanbul and overpay for the simple food. The total price can pay for a dinner or launch in a very nice restaurant anywhere else in Instanbul and Turkey in general. Would NEVER RECOMMEND!...

Cheaters!! Avoid!!! I ordered at the counter by pointing to the items on displayed. I ordered 2 items which I confirmed was 5 lira & 9.50 lira each. When the waiter served the food I offered to pay before eating & he keep asking me pay in euro. When I insisted to pay in lira, he said the items cost 96 liras. I got a shock.

He said that all prices displayed at the counter are in EURO not lira. When I pointed to him that the currency clearly showed lira, he keep insisting that it is EURO not lira. I had to whip out my phone, Googled LIRA and showed him that the sign at the display clearly is LIRA not EURO.

He then said that my ordered portions are bigger hence cost more.

I said I never ordered bigger portion, I just wanted the items with prices as displayed.

I think I was making a scene so he agreed to let us...

One prices for tourists one for locals. They have one menu on the cork and 'special' menu for tourists (double or triple price). If you want to order at cork they do not let that happen and they sent you to table where they bring you menu with prices for tourists and they charge you for 'service' which you did not want. Also they put prices as they want (e.g. on the poster french fries are 6.5 TL and you have to pay 15 TL). I do not know if someone (inspection) controls them but it is shame for food place at this location that they can do whatever they want. Also, it is dirty and they do not clean the tables after customers (even in this time...
