Sadrazam Turkish Delight — Restaurant in Fatih

What an incredible experience my husband and I had! Sadrazam was suggested to us for the tastiest, freshest Turkish Delight. Not only did we succeed in our quest for specific flavors for our daughter, we bought some for ourselves, then added refreshing fruity drink powders in mango and black currant, as well as seasoning blends and cardamom pods for a friend who enjoys making cardamom tea. Ibrahim and Omar and a kind, young lady with a sense of humor (didn’t get her name, for now I will call her Leila), were all three wonderful people! Ibrahim suggested we check out Gülhane Park just down the street as the famous Türkiye tulips were in bloom. We left our shopping entrusted in their care and took the short stroll over to the park. What a treat! Upon returning, we then took a stroll 2 doors down to check out Ibrahim’s brother’s shop. Beautiful kilim runners which will have to wait for our next trip back to Istanbul....

The front of the store is a Turkish Delight shop, but in the back there is a small coffee shop. The set-up is amazing and really nice. It blocks out the chaos of the streets and brings you some peace after getting lost all day in the city.

We ordered a cappuccino and a milk baklava, which was delicious. It was so tasty and palatable, with just the perfect amount of sweet. The combination with the coffee made it even better.

The service was also very good. We asked the waiter if he could take a pic of us, and he ended up taking a few great ones but also had this initiative of taking a reel, which was just top notch.

Excellent atmosphere, the place combines a front Turkish sweets/candy/dry teas store, and a very cozy set of tables to enjoy sweets and teas in the back, with smooth calm authentic music.

Omar was very helpful, helped us make our choices of sweets with recommendations and samples, offered us complimentary tea while we sat to enjoy some of them, and showed us a large collection of coffee cezve, tea glasses, and other related implements (which they also sell).

If you're looking for Turkish sweets to bring back or a place to relax and enjoy cool sweets and absolutely delicious tea, look no further.
