Read moreBe aware that this place scams its customers. Our family ate there for dinner in April 2025. We chose this place for the relatively high ratings, but did not expect that we would get scammed multiple times:
Upon entry, we were told they would give 10% discount. It ended up that they charged 10% service charge to “make up” for this discount when all of the other restaurants in Turkey already included service charge in the pricing of the food.
They ran 3 credit cards at our table claiming none of them went through. Our family has been traveling in Turkey up until this point for almost a week and never had any issues with credit cards charges. They told us it was our credit card issue which it can’t possibly be. Then two of their staff admitted that they have been having problems with their machine for the past 2 days. They also do not have a back-up machine. How can a restaurant ONLY HAVE ONE CREDIT CARD MACHINE?! They are purposely not fixing their machine so they can end up taking your cash. They also do not tell you when you enter that their machine isn’t working and that they can only accept cash.
When we finally had to give them US dollars which was the only cash we had in the amount needed, they wanted a conversion rate of 36 Turkish lira to $1 which is absurd because the current rate is 38 to $1.
It isn’t a proper trip to Turkey without getting scammed, but if you can avoid this restaurant, please do. They...

3/5 FOOD was okay, nothing out of this world or something to write home about. There are much better options with tastier food in Cappadocia.
3/5 VIBE beautiful view from the rooftop; the restaurant is integrated into the rock formation which is super cool BUT they had the same pop cover playlist of 5 songs on repeat, which included a “we wish you a merry Christmas” tune — not a joke. This was incredibly annoying & took away from the aesthetic of the place. Traditional Turkish music would’ve made it better.
1/5 SERVICE our server was careless and did not make us feel welcomed. There was a huge lack of hospitality and attention to our table. For the first time we had a server pass by our table to tell us “I’m all over the place” — yes, he was, but there was no need to tell us that; rather, he could’ve simply apologized, which he didn’t. He never stopped by to check on us or ask if we were doing okay. We had to constantly try to get his attention to ask for something.
We spent a considerable amount of money for two people at this place between the different dishes, wine, & hookah. You would think that this alone would motivate a restaurant to value their customers.
If you’re looking for a tourist trap with a nice...
