It could be the fact that we went in the off season (late January), but the food was really not good. We first ordered lentil soup which came with a basket of bread. The bread was soft, chewy, desperately in need of salt and absolutely tasteless. The soup was mediocre and further ruined by the bread. We also ordered the eggplant salad (meze) and the sac tava. The eggplant salad was unquestionably more than a day old, also without flavor, and worse, sour. And finally the sac tava... The flavor was not bad, even good, but the meat was worse than bad. You could chew it 100x and you still wouldn't get through. It was fajita meat: the last and cheapest part of the animal. We sent back the sac tava and we barely touched the rest. To the credit of the staff, they were kind, cordial and professional. We left without accepting the chef's offer to make another sac tava... This is not the review of a spoiled, entitled, millennial traveling through Turkey as a tourist. I've lived in Turkey for a year now. I've traveled to some 20 cities and haven't found food at this level in any of them. My suggestion: go...

The pastırma, cheese, and egg pide was absolutely fantastic – with its crispy crust, generous toppings, and incredible flavor, it left a lasting impression. The fresh and light salad on the side complemented the meal perfectly.
The atmosphere was truly enchanting. The winter garden provided a warm and cozy environment, especially on a chilly day, and enjoying the breathtaking Göreme views while dining was a highlight. The interior, with its wooden details and warm lighting, created an inviting and peaceful ambiance. The soft and pleasant background music added to the relaxing vibe, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The friendly and attentive staff made me feel very welcome. Their excellent service was both quick and professional, which added to the overall positive experience. I can’t wait to come back and try their famous testi kebab on my next visit. If you’re looking for delicious food and a cozy atmosphere in Göreme, this is definitely the...
Read moreThe place is nice but the service is terrible. We had dinner for two people. We ordered the turkish ravioli and the mix grilled meat. They brought first the ravioli without the drinks and bread, we kindly asked them if we could send it back until the other plate was ready so we could eat together. When they served both plates the raviolis were already cold so we had to wait to get them hot again. The glass of wine wasn’t cleaned properly, had marks on the borders. The food itself wasn’t bad but wasn’t the big thing either. The waiters never paid attention to the table nor asked to us if we needed something. After 10-15 min we finished eating we had to move our plates to the borders of the table to get them removed. We ate in many turkish restaurants, all of them we had wonderful experiences, but this one was pretty bad, and the restaurant was almost empty so shouldn’t be an excuse to say they were busy. Hopefully they...
