A Perfect Family-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Göreme
With so many hotels in Göreme, it can be hard to choose—but if you're traveling with family and looking for a place with easy access to the town center, this hotel is an excellent choice. Located on flat ground with no steep hills, it’s just a short walk to the main bus terminal, shops, and restaurants, making it especially convenient for families with children.
The rooms are spacious, full of natural sunlight, well-ventilated, and clean. The towels and bedding smell fresh and pleasant, adding to the comfort. The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated with Turkish ceramics, flowers, and greenery, creating a cozy and charming atmosphere with plenty of lovely photo spots. Some of the displayed ceramics are also available for purchase at very reasonable prices.
Breakfast is served at your table—simple, healthy, and delicious—and you can enjoy it with a nice view overlooking Göreme town.
The hotel is close to the city center but tucked away in a peaceful area, so it’s quiet at night. If you're traveling by rental car, parking right in front of the hotel is easy. The walking path to the balloon viewpoint is just around the corner and takes about 10 minutes.
This is a small, family-run hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere, and considering its reasonable price, it offers exceptional value.
The only downside is that it does not offer a direct view of the hot air balloons from the hotel itself. However, the balloons are visible only for a few hours in the early morning, and most balloon-view hotels are located on steep hills, which can be difficult to access, especially when driving or parking. Those areas also tend to get very crowded during...

Read moreBEST hotel experience of my life!! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you're travelling to the Cappadocia area. It's a small family-run hotel (10 rooms across 3 floors, stairs only) by the lovely Mr. Furkan.
ROOMS: They were very very spacious and traditionally decorated. For what we paid I was very happy with the size, much bigger than usual hotels---big single bed! The bathroom was more modern, had a shower and jacuzzi! (For 3 people, we got Cave Suite which was on the 1st floor).
SERVICE: Furkan is a very friendly and knowledgable host. Besides being such a good hotel owner, he helped us book activities: hot air balloons, horse riding, private tours, all at good prices (we legit didn't do anything ourselves!). Fun to talk to, gives great food recommendations too. Man is a lifesaver, we love him.
LOCATION: SUPERB! Close to the city centre & restaurants (within 10min walk). Also, because I travelled with my grandmother, I was relieved to see that Aren was on flatter land and not so high up (didn't require a hike to get to). Other hotels around Göreme are at higher elevation, mountainous areas. It depends on what you're looking for honestly.
FOOD: Our booking came with breakfast. Every morning they served up this Anatolian masterpiece, loved everything they served (tho I'll def get bored eventually lol). It's the same thing everyday with minor changes here and there (e.g. the sweet cakes). You can customise, simply tell them what you want more/less of. While you're eating you can also ask for more of this and that! Bfast is on the 3rd floor patio that has an amazing view!
It was so comforting to stay here that I was sad...
