I used to go to the Narjil restaurant frequently , but my recent experience left me incredibly disappointed. Notably, the behavior of a waiter named 'Deniz' was remarkably rude and disrespectful. During our time there, as we were engaged in conversation, he abruptly picked up a glass to check its level - a move that felt unnecessary. When it was time to pay the bill, the electricity suddenly went out, showing that they didn't have a backup power system. Instead of finding a way to fix the situation, they just wrote down the total amount on a piece of tissue paper. This would have been manageable if the calculation had been correct. However, the waiter wrongly factored in a 12% tax and insisted on a higher payment. He only confessed to making a mistake after I asked him about it, and he tried to put the blame on accidentally adding 2 extra cocktails. What further contributed to the situation was the absence of any mention of this tax on the menu or anywhere in the restaurant. This lack of transparency further compounded the overall negative experience. This recent visit to Narjil was undoubtedly my worst...
Read moreNice restaurant, good food but bad people. We were yesterday twice for lunch and during night for deserts. Lunch was well prepared but during lunch one lady from kitchen collapsed and we with several other peoples tried to help and stabilize her. She felt in kitchen corridor, while we were trying to stabilize her several times waiters were asked us to move and pass with food service over collapsed lady. Luckily emergency unit came on time and stabilize this lady from kitchen. I’m wondering will it be the same if someone from restaurant management or guests face with same situation.
Just one remark for food quality, when we came in dinner time for dessert, we ordered fondue and we received cold pudding instead of chocolate which is quite disappointing for such...
Read moreThis place looked very nice, the service was great from start to finish, very professional and kept the tables cleaned always.
The sheesha was probably one of the best we have had, the food however was not up to scratch - the meat platter had some cheap cuts of meat, maybe old meat? But its was’t appetising, the kofte was quite strong in flavour more like a sujuk (red meat) - so probably not the best place to come here for food. The mocktails however where decent. The price of the food was also quite on the expensive side and you’d expect it to be up to scratch.
Sheesha 5/5 Ambience 4/5 Service 4/5 Food 2/5
Overall: 3/5
May come here again for the sheesha but definitely not for the food -...
