North Pier's — Restaurant in Konak

Terrible, bad, restaurant trying to scam you. The male waiter came after us for convincing us to choose their restaurant and sit next to the sea. Then after choosing this restaurant the female waitress said I can't put you at the table by the sea because you are the people without reservation, you’re just passers-by. I said to the female chief, the male chief said so, she answers why you didn't ask me, I wouldn’t say so. This is such a rude place. I drank a long island ice tea all over the world, this place brought me ice and water and a tasteless soft drink. My girlfriend ordered Greek salad, they irregularly chopped tomatoes and brought them without paying any attention to the presentation, without onions and too expensive for this little portion. I don't recommend this place to anyone. A cocktail for 12 euros is okay, but eighty percent of a cocktail is ice, so you’re buying icecubes for that price. Also the music was so bad and loud that you couldn’t have a proper conversation. Anyway, I don't recommend it to any of my friends. I was thinking of sitting for a long time in this restaurant last night, but after this situation, my girlfriend and I ran away from the restaurant and went to a place that made much better quality cocktails in Pier.

We have visited the place with 6 people. One of us ordered ‘ sun flower seed garden salad’. After a while he was in pain, thought he broke his tooth with something huge in his salad. We found a big white rock! Once the waitress came we gave the rock and asked him to take this to his general manager and to the chef to show. No one came to apologize and no one did not explain anything. My husband might find himself in the dentist because of this ridiculous mistake of the restaurant. At the end we were asked to pay this salad with rock! Unfortunately we cannot suggest this...

Without a doubt this place is a very nice place to chill, connect with people, and soak in the Izmir vibes.

Food was just ok. Shrimps on avocado - the avocado was a bit ripe for my liking and lacked in salt. Lamb shank was good. The fried seafood overall was mediocre because frozen seafood were used for the preparation. It's European prices hence the harsher comments.

The faultless part was the service - courteous staff despite our language barriers. At the end of the dinner, a generous serving of fruit was offered.
