TAKA is the top restaurant in which to hope to catch a glimpse of the hugely beloved President Recep Tayip Erdoğan and his stylish wife, as the restaurant is just 20 meters away from the imposing "AKP PARTI House Of Convene" across the avenue. You may spy on a few Parliamentarians, some Turkish TV stars posing incognito, a few jounalists, and eye the dapper waiters as they politely advise on what menue is "sightly" to order. This is an understated up-people's restaurant by day, but an exclusive fab one by night, offering wines from the oldest vinyards of Phöenician heritage along with sinfully exquisite fish platters and the universe of decadent Turkish gluttony. But, be wary with bodyguards and crime police, as "some may be serving as waitors", to check you out as you appreciate the admirable stealth that protects the machine of Ottoman politics. Ikram atom: gayet guzel. Kuru biber acisi, yagi, puruzsuz yogurt dokusu.

Doner 8/10 : biraz daha yagli olsa daha iyi olabilir. Bag doku agzima hic gelmedi. Eti iyi ayikliyorlar belli ki. Belki en dis kismina denk geldim ama biraz da tuzu fazla gibi. Toplamda ama gayet iyi bir doner diyebilirim. Ekmek sunumlari malesef zayif. Cok ince, yag emmeye hic musait olmayan bir lavas. Masaya ikram olarak gelen pide parcalarinin sicak hali ile sunum olsa muthis olur.

Kuymak: tereyaglari kendilerine ozel uretiliyor, samsun bolgesinden, cok iyi.

Kavurmali kapali pide: cok sert kitir dokusu olan, muhtesem bir pide. Kimilerine cok kizarmis ve sert gelebilir ama bence guzel bir ozellik bu. Tereyagi yine harika.

Ispir fasulyesi: cok iyi. Bu fasulyenin klasik kuru fasulyeden farki, tepside pismesi, suyunun cok az olmasi, cok fazla tereyagi ile yapilmasi ve biraz seker katilmasi. Fasulyenin irki da farkli tabii ki.

Lufer: gayet guzeldi, daha az pisirilebilir. Kilcikli sunum da cok zorluyor yemeyi. Kilciksiz bir sunum daha keyifli olur.

Kalkan: pisirme derecesi cok iyiydi, dokusu cok daha karakteristik bir balik. Daha civik, daha yumsak ve yagli bir doku. Dikenlerinden ayiklamak biraz zorlu fakat yine de luferden iyiydi.

Balik Corbasi: cok iyi

Mekan cok guzel, ferah. Servis cok iyi, ilgili ve bilgili garsonlar. Kendi park yerleri var. Cocuk...

Visited Taka last night with colleagues.This is an attractive restaurant that specializes in Black Sea cuisine, but those in our party who had non-seafood entrees were very satisfied, too. The salad was very fresh. I particularly enjoyed what was called black cabbage soup -- very tasty and served in a traditional copper bowl.
