Quick China Armada — Restaurant in Yenimahalle

I have been to quite a lot of branches of quick china in Ankara , while most of them vary in certain ways, the taste of the food is always great. But I can say for the armada branch of quick china, the service is always slagging and the quality of the employees are often inappropriate and impolite; kind of making the client feel like they have been causing an inconvenience by ordering something.

My experience with this place was of two incidences which were unsatisfactory. Once when I was with family where we had to wait for about 1 and a half hour for our orders to arrive ( I am not sure if they had forgotten) but I thought maybe it was because it was a busy night and I gave them the benefit of doubt. Regardless the food arrived and it was still of great delicacy.

The next experience I had was when I had ordered the meal over the phone and I was meant to pick it up in 10 minutes which I did. But as I entered they showed me a place to sit as they went to check if my order was ready. However, the place they seated me was later changed depending on their convenience saying it was reserved when there was no sign saying that it was occupied and they were the first people that showed me on to the seating area, so that was a bit confusing and impolite.

First time eating at Quick China. We were impressed with the atmosphere, it was much nicer than we expected from a place with "Quick" in the name; this is not a fast food joint!

Menu was expansive and has really good pictures of much of the food. It's one of the rare occasions that when the food came out it looked even better than the pictures.

The overall impression fell apart at the very when when the waiter would not leave the table after I paid. He made a point to show me on the bill that there was no service charge added. I acknowledged, and proceeded to tell me how much I should tip him. First off, the service to that point was fair, but nothing noteworthy. Second, if you have to ask, you didn't go above and beyond to deserve a tip. After telling him I understood, and that I didn't have cash, he said it could be charged on a credit card. I told him no, and he still wouldn't leave. Finally my wife dug in her purse and gave him some TL and we left.

Very unprofessional of the waiter, and I hope not an indicator of how they normally operate. We may go back, but it won't be...

My partner is living in Ankara and every time I come here, we visit QuickChina. This location by far is my most favorite one. It is quiet, the placement of tables is very nice, you can easily talk and hear each other. Music is pleasant, and the atmosphere is great. Besides, parking is easily accessible, but if you come not in a very busy hour, since it’s placed in a shopping mall (which can also be a plus for some people). Speaking as a foreigner with a decent travel and living-in-Türkiye experience, the food is great, I guess the best asian food you can possibly find here. Prices are pricey, but what is not here nowadays? Besides, they give free tea and snacks!!! Service is great, especially at this location. Waiters are working quick and are very sweet and attentive. Special thanks to Ulaş, who, besides being very nice and considerate, spoke English with me (which is very rare here), and Furkan who likes gothic rock 🤘 Great experience, definitely will come again and not once. Genuinely recommended! (In my humble opinion, best dish is Green curry...
