So super friendly! These ladies are wonderful! Food didn’t take long at all, fresh made, and while we waited she offered us the wifi password. Listen, I’m from Atlanta. We frequent the north Georgia and NC mountains and some of the BEST PLACES IVE EVER EATEN are small places with small menus. This place has good food at a reasonable price, considering it’s the islands. It’s probably not budget friendly if that’s your goal, but neither is the grocery store. Anywhere you go is gonna cost you in Provo! We stopped here after snorkeling smith reef (must do) which is just around the corner. We didn’t have shirts or shoes but she brought our food out to the picnic table, just as sweet as could be, and made sure we stayed hydrated because we were BAKED from the sun! Be sure to tip! You think the US prices are inflated? Wait until you buy gas or groceries on this island. And liquor? You’re in for a SHOCK! Tip your restaurants, bartenders, servers, whatever. TIP THEM! If you can afford a trip to the Turks, you can afford to tip! These folks work in perpetual summer while you probably work a climate controlled 9-5. TIP OR COOK YOUR OWN...
Read moreHideaway Grill and Chill is a fantastic spot in Turks and Caicos that truly lives up to its name. If you’re looking for incredible food in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit.
The highlight of my meal was the oxtail dish. It was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and seasoned beautifully. The rich, savory sauce was packed with spices that gave it a unique and authentic island flavor. Paired with rice and peas and a side of plantains, it was a hearty and satisfying dish that I couldn’t get enough of. My partner tried the jerk chicken, which was equally delicious, but the oxtail definitely stole the show.
The ambiance is as inviting as the food. With its casual outdoor seating and a gentle ocean breeze, the setting is perfect for a relaxed meal. The staff were warm and friendly, providing excellent service and great recommendations from the menu.
Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or dinner, Hideaway Grill and Chill offers an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re in Turks and Caicos, don’t miss this gem—and definitely don’t leave without trying the oxtail. It’s an...
Read moreFirst and foremost, Diane was an absolute gem. It is apparent that she cares about her food and her service. I am the type to look up reviews beforehand and was torn between the goat curry and the jerk chicken and unfortunately she didn’t have the goat curry available that day & when I asked her which she recommended between jerk chicken and the jerk pork she said she would do half and half for me. She also came back out and asked how long we would be on the island for and that she would have the goat curry available in a couple days if we were still around. We also ordered the conch fritters (best we had on the island), and the fried fish. Both dishes came with fantastic fried plantains and peas and rice. Everything was absolutely amazing and cooked with love. Diane took the time to come out and chat a little but she wasn’t pushy or overbearing either. Do keep in mind it is a cash only spot but prices were reasonable. We would have LOVED to go back but just didn’t have enough time. Definitely a must go to spot when in...
