I recently visited Allo Beirut Arabic Restaurant and had a wonderful dining experience. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant had a cozy and authentic ambiance, which added to the overall dining pleasure.
I started my meal with some traditional Arabic appetizers, including falafel, hummus, vine leaves, and vegetable pizza. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a flavorful and tender interior. The hummus was smooth and creamy. The vine leaves were stuffed with a delicious mixture of rice and herbs, and the vegetable pizza was great !
One of the highlights of my meal was the zaatar cheese manakish. The dough was soft and fluffy, and the combination of zaatar and cheese created a delectable flavor. It was a delightful twist on a classic Lebanese dish. I also tried their cocktail juice, which was refreshing and packed with fruity goodness.
To top off my meal, I indulged in some Haloumi cheese. It was perfectly grilled, with a crispy exterior and a gooey, salty center. The cheese had a rich and savory taste that was incredibly satisfying.
However, what impressed me the most was the exceptional service provided by Mr. Rashwan, one of the staff members. He treated us with utmost respect and made sure we felt like royalty. He was attentive to our needs, always checking in to ensure our dining experience was top-notch. His kindness and genuine care added a personal touch to our visit and made us feel truly welcomed.
Overall, Allo Beirut Arabic Restaurant exceeded my expectations in terms of both food quality and service. The dishes were prepared with care and tasted fantastic. The friendly and attentive staff, especially Mr. Rashwan, ( in the picture with juice)made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of authentic Arabic cuisine and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a vegetarian, my dining options may have been limited ,but I still had a great experience and observed many happy diners enjoying...
Read moreAfter a long day out, me, as well as my family decided to come to Allo Beirut!
We were recommended by multiple people about the amazing food, and the impeccable service, so we just had to come and experience the food our selves.
Lets start off with the food:
We first started off with the Fatoush & Taboulrh, both very good, and classic dishes making you feel like your eating in Lebanon. We then had the shawerma, batata harra, sujouk, among other things. The shawerma is honestly one of, if not the best I’ve had in all of Abu Dhabi, and the batata harra & sujouk were so good that it reminds me of eating at my grandmas home. The mixed grills tasted very fresh, and was filled with amazing flavours. We ended off with a nice cup of tea and knaffe, both very good combos to end an amazing meal
Now the atmosphere:
The atmosphere was AMAZING! When I tell you the music, the wall, the seating the colours, the EVERYTHING was amazing! The AC was turned on at just the right temperature so you wouldn’t be freezing. The furniture and the coziness of the environment was absolutely astounding. I would honestly come back just to sit and relax with my friends because of the beauty of the atmosphere.
Lastly, the service:
Our server (Issa), treated us like were family. The food was being brought out very quickly, and he would be checking up on us throughout every stage of the experience, taking away the finished plates the second they end. On top of that. Me and my family felt very comfortable and happy with him, we were conversing like we’ve known each other for years and would honestly be the reason why I tell my friends about this place. He quite literally made the restaurant 20x better!
Allo Beirut has impeccable service, amazing food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff here treat you like family and look after you throughout every step of the way. To anyone thinking of coming here, I highly recommend coming here, as all these factors would make for a...
Read moreI had heard a lot about Allo Beirut and was genuinely excited to try it out, especially given all the social media buzz and positive reviews online. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations.
We visited the restaurant for a family dinner and decided to go with one of their popular options – the mixed grill platter. The portion size was decent, and the presentation looked quite appealing. However, once we started eating, the disappointment began to settle in. The beef, in particular, was poorly cooked – it was underdone, chewy, and lacked proper seasoning. It was quite tough to eat and clearly not grilled with the care one would expect from a place that prides itself on Lebanese cuisine.
The rest of the meats on the platter were just average – neither bad nor particularly flavorful. The chicken was alright, and the lamb was slightly better in taste, but again, not memorable. The sides like hummus and garlic paste were fine, but nothing exceptional that would make me return. I also felt the service could have been a bit more attentive – we had to remind the staff a couple of times for basic things like water and extra cutlery.
Ambience-wise, the place has a nice, casual vibe, and the décor is modern with a Lebanese touch. But good ambience alone cannot carry the experience, especially when the food doesn't meet the mark.
Overall, I would say my experience was underwhelming. For the price and reputation, I expected a much better meal. I hope the management takes such feedback seriously and works on improving both the cooking quality and the service. There’s definitely potential here, but right now, it feels more like hype...
