We visited Cafe del Mar few times, we like to spend our time during weekends, we had few incidents that ruined the experience for us and made us decide not to come here again. The first incident was when we forgot, or we thought that we forgot our hats and glasses, it was all in one place on the sun bed, we called less than an hour later to inform them to keep it for us and we will be back, surprisingly it disappeared and never been found!! The next week we kept our electronics beside us and we were in the pool, after couple of hours someone literally snatched it!! When we reported the incident and requested from the management to check the cameras, their excuse for refusal was that they don’t want to invade the privacy of the customers!! Which was a lame and unprofessional excuse!! Security cameras are there for such incidents. The manager instead offered us a free entry!! After those 2 incidents we never came back, this place is covering up for such a behaviour that should not be the case. I recently went to Paella Night at Café del Mar in Yas Bay, and honestly, it was such a fun and relaxing evening. The atmosphere was just perfect – laid-back beach vibes, great lighting, and live Spanish guitar playing in the background. You really feel like you’re on a Mediterranean escape without leaving Abu Dhabi.

The highlight, of course, was the paella – they serve unlimited portions, and it was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, with generous seafood and perfectly cooked rice. I had seconds… and maybe even thirds 😄. It’s AED 129 per person, which I thought was really good value considering the quality and the location.

For ladies, drinks are included, which made it feel like a great little midweek indulgence. I went with a few friends, and we ended up staying longer than planned because the vibes were just right – breezy outdoor seating, good music, friendly staff, and that sea view 😍.

So disappointing. Came here with our son before a show at the arena. Great location and decor but service and food was so bad. I ordered a goat cheese and beetroot salad (with spinach and walnuts) - it was a bowel filled to the brim with beetroot, 4 spinach leaves, chopped cos lettuce, 2 walnuts and 4 tiny bits of goat’s cheese and one slice of orange. My husband ordered the 300dhs steak and honestly my kids could’ve plated better. The steak was flavorless and cooked badly and was obviously a cheap cut, served with white rice one cherry tomato and some splatted veggies all pushed the side of his plate.
