I read the reviews and stopped at Calicut Paradise for a lunch meal early at 11:30 am to enjoy a quiet lunch and I am glad I selected this restaurant. Not only it is great Kerala cuisine, but also the flavors and spices used by the chef created a great experience for me. I got the non-veg lunch meal and was amazed by the variety of dishes and depth of flavors in each item. The rasam with rice truly stood out and so did the succulent meat dish and the fried fish. The spice level in the meat dish was great and it made me want some extra rice as well. It was reasonably priced at 15 AED for the non veg meal and I was also given extra rice. The owner was friendly to talk to as well and it was a comforting place to sit at and enjoy my lunch. Will definitely visit again. :)
