Saigon House — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I was so excited to learn that we have a well priced Vietnamese restaurant in the UAE in a recent post. It turns out that it also has really good food unlike its predecessor. Note they havent advertised their dine-in yet, and their official chef will join later this month. The staff was SO friendly and accommodating. The waitress was so nice to our daughter. They even offered special food for her. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Venue:⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ SPRING ROLLS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good, nice shrimp, great textures. The sauce was excellent. Nice touch with the fried onions, that was new to me. PHO BO (BEEF PHO) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent flavor, great condiments, dont be afraid of a couple basil and mint leaves. BUN BO HUE (BEEF SOUP WITH LEMONGRASS) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb. The broth was extremely good. I always have mine quite spicy and the chilis made it just right. They have nice caramelized onion flavor as well. BANH MI BO (BEEF SANDWICH) ⭐ This usually is my favorite Vietnamese dish... it was... not good. The bread was awful, there was no balance of flavors. But maybe it will be better when the chef joins. So Ill try this again in a month or so. I left it out of the full comparison. I recently had the pleasure of dining at a small, authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves some of the best pho I have ever tasted. Despite its unassuming exterior, the restaurant's warm and welcoming atmosphere drew me in, and I was immediately impressed by the friendly and attentive crew.

The pho was undoubtedly the highlight of my meal. The broth was rich, flavorful, and simmered to perfection, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The portions were generous, and the addition of fresh herbs and vegetables elevated the dish to another level.

In addition to the outstanding pho, the restaurant also offers a range of other Vietnamese specialties, all of which are prepared with the same attention to detail and quality. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were more than enough to satisfy my appetite. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant...

Some items on their menu is very good Some other items are okay, a few we didn't like.

Service fluctuates from one visit to another..in general not up to our expectations..yesterday their service was very disappointing as I couldn't find a place to park and dropped my family to have dinner while I find a parking slot. After 25 minutes of touring the area to no avail went back with my car and waited infront the rest and called my son over the phone and explained the situation. He politely asked the waitress to deliver my pho to the car along the card machine so I can pay. The waitress declined saying that she is busy packaging an order for delivery!!! Seriously ?!

I think I won't bother to visit a place again where the basic services are not available.
