If you're craving authentic Tamil Nadu flavors, look no further than Vallavan Restaurant. This place is a hidden gem for lovers of bold spices, traditional cooking, and heartwarming South Indian hospitality.
The star of our meal was undoubtedly the Chicken Chukka Biryaniâa dish that delivered layers of flavor with every bite. The biryani was perfectly cooked, with fragrant rice infused with spices and tender, spicy chicken chukka pieces mixed right in. It had just the right balance of heat and depth, making it a standout dish for both biryani and dry masala lovers.
Another highlight was their Chicken Liver, which was cooked to perfection in pure ghee. The rich aroma and velvety texture of the liver, combined with the deep, nutty flavor of ghee, made this dish incredibly satisfying and unique. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were comfortable and well-served throughout the meal. The ambiance is casual and cozyâperfect for a relaxed family meal or a hearty lunch...

In customer service, attitude matters, and unfortunately, we were treated with little respect or care. We ended up leaving without even having our food, and surprisingly, the server seemed happy about it and made no effort to address the situation or stop us.
If there's a staff shortage, it shouldn't affect how customers are treated. The management should ensure proper training and set clear expectations for their employees when it comes to customer interaction.
After leaving Vallavan, we went to Calicut Paradise Restaurantâand the difference was night and day. The food and customer service there were excellent. Vallavan could...
