We are dining very often in the paul. specifically this location in the weekend and our order is pretty much same each time. Staff need to be more customer oriented and think out of the box. Each time we are having meal in the place we see advertisement of some items or new dishes on each tables. So when I went to the mall I remember about picnic boxes which is initially I find very good idea. However when I ordered lady at the cashier told me one item is not available, so they will replace it with any other (means will make 2 times) from existing one. I found it not right, if you are advertising something it should be available as per price and inclusions offering originally. Ok I understand something happened once and it’s not available, I asked to replace it with alternative similar option (which is not hard just any other small sandwich anything). But lady instead of giving me solution simply just said: “no, we can’t”. How difficult in bakery for chef to replace it small sandwiches with any other sandwiches alternatively. And the whole point is not about money, or sandwiches itself but about approach from the team. It’s simple to say no to customer rather than to use your logic and to give satisfying option to customer. And in fact, as customer I’m not asking anything extra I’m asking to provide what is advertised and what I’m paying for (no need to prepare special toasts or items with extreme expensive products, just simple ham or cheese with similar bread, anything, go out of the comfort zone and fix your issue, it’s not customer fault). I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at Paul Cafe during my recent visit. Unfortunately, the waiter who served me lacked the necessary experience to effectively handle customer interactions.

One of the main issues I encountered was the significant delay in receiving my food. Specifically, the salad I ordered arrived after the main course, which disrupted the flow of the meal. Additionally, the chicken club sandwich that I ordered took approximately 20 minutes to be served, despite it being a simple preparation of toasted bread.

As a customer, I expect timely service and a smooth dining experience. However, the delays and lack of attention to detail were frustrating and impacted my overall satisfaction with the visit.

I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention so that appropriate measures can be taken to improve the quality of service at Paul Cafe. I suggest providing proper training and guidance to your staff to ensure they are equipped to handle customer interactions efficiently.

[UPDATED MAY 2024] •Always an excellent option for a delicious food, dessert or just a drink. The flavors are very surprising. The service is good, they’re very attentive and Tarek did a nice job serving us this time.

• The location is very nice, at the main atrium and next to the Zara, easy to find. The place is spacious and with plenty of tables inside and “outside”, modern and clean.

•Ordered the starter Furikake Sweet Potato (39aed) and worthy every bite. The mains was the BBQ Steak And Avocado (72aed) and Fermiere Salad (59aed), perfect options for a light meal, super delicious. The drinks are soo good as well, the Heart Beet (28aed), Chamomile Yuzu (28aed) and Fresh Orange Juice (26aed), all taste amazingly good.

•Paul is a “must go” whenever you want, always wishing return to enjoy a new flavor.
