We recently visited this branch and had one of the most unnecessarily complicated experiences over something that should have been extremely simple to resolve. We ordered meals that came with colas but all of the drinks were fizzed out and flat. When we raised the issue, instead of quickly replacing them with fresh colas, it turned into a long, frustrating back-and-forth with 3 different staff members, each repeating the same dismissive responses.
The first lady (possibly Indian/Nepali) who took our order had to have the situation explained over and over. Her âsolutionâ? Offer other drinks we didnât want, fixing her problem, not ours. The next (Filipino) staff member dismissed it outright, saying she âtastedâ it and found nothing wrong, implying we were lying. A third (Filipino) repeated the same excuse and even said, âNone of the other customers complained,â as if one complaint isnât worth taking seriously. After much discussion, she got to the point of saying âweâll speak to the Coke technician to resolve the matterâ Iâm sorry. What? First of all, why should I care about that? How does that help me now? Thatâs just a meaningless formality so they can say theyâre âdoing something" even though they clearly didnât care enough to resolve it for us in the moment.
Management refused to give cola cans because theyâre âonly for delivery ordersâ I mean itâs laughable that a restaurant that markets itself on customer satisfaction, quality & delivering a great pizza experience would be so stingy over something so trivial. Not like it was a daily request, just a one-off exception to leave a customer satisfied. This isnât the first time weâve experienced poor handling of issues with Papa Johnâs both in-store & with deliveries but we rarely bring it up. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that feedback isnât taken seriously, accountability is lacking and the priority seems to be closing the sale rather than ensuring a good customer experience.
Yes, it was âjust a drinkâ but for us, drinks are part of the meal we pay for and we expect them to be right. We werenât asking for anything unreasonable. Instead, we were met with reluctance, excuses, outright dismissal. This isnât the way to treat paying customers. In the end, we left the colas untouched and finished our meals without them. The staff didnât seem to care, even when we said weâd leave feedback. But thatâs the reality when customer care isnât a priority. The atmosphere was great and lovely with bright indoor and outdoor seating arrangements.
Staff were very friendly, I loved their smiling faces all through the time
My order was a mix of vegan, veg and non veg đ I ordered a Vegan Cheese Sticks as starter and a large half and half pizza with Spicy Chicken Ranch and Green Garden Delight with Vegan Stuffed Crust and my choice of Coke.
Everything prepared freshly and the taste was awesome đ
