Le Méridien Abu Dhabi Resort — Hotel in Abu Dhabi

Le Meridian awesome folks: Le meridien Le’ Meriddien Abu Dhabi Resort is simply ALL AROUND FANTASTIC and VERY SPECIAL. We have been here since January 29, 2024 and still here planning to check out Friday February 23, 2024 (almost a month). Le’ Meridien Abu Dhabi resort location is awesome, close to two great malls, pharmacies for last minute medicines, Wine shop across the street with unbelievable low and I mean low prices from Chile-Spain-Frane-Argentina-Italy and etc. Safe as heaven, Plenty of shops and restaurants walking distance, AUH airport and louvre Abu Dhabi all within 10-20 minutes taxi ride. Customer service is superb!!! At check in I found the bed really sagging and the front desk manger Mr. Jasper very professional and respectful walked me in to several other rooms to personally choose from and moved all of my suitcases to the new room. Room service staff are absolutely wonderful and customer service is their number one priority! We purchased Breakfast and the Executive Lounge access. I highly recommend you Purchase the breakfast and you won’t regret it. I do like that people are not allowed to carry plates of food walking around and in the hotel because this IS NOT A MOTEL and it’s a 5 star hotel! Security is tight and excellent!!!! Resort is wonderfully cared for and smells fresh and feels expensive and VERY special. If you are looking for a 4-5 star hotel with wonderful and relaxing feel but yet feel special…look no more. Another plus is that Le’ Meridien is owned by Marriot so you get points. There are many that made our continued stay wonderful but below staff must be recognized above the rest. The gym is great with lots of exercise equipment and there’s no shortage. Pool is nice and warm🙏👍. My fiancé and I are still here and enjoying!!! :-) 1-Front desk manger Jasper 2- Kenneth front desk 3- Mr. Delwar Khan (pool Resturant 👍 took care of us like round the clock) 4- Kedar (Sauna/Gym) secured our chairs and towels each day so we have our own place. 5- Farhad (sauna/Gym) took care of Sauna or anything I needed right away! 6- Ajay (Security) opened the doors for us every time treating us like king and queen. 7- Chanaka (executive lounge) awesome man and so professional and simply amazing person!!!! 8- Mr. Satheesan (breakfast restaurant manager). I could not finish my review unless I mention Mr. Satheesan 🙏 manager of the restaurant. To the Le’ Meridien Abu Dhabi resort manager; you have one of the most professional, caring and respectful manager that I have ever seen and I have traveled around the world since 1993. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding experience my family and I had during our stay at your esteemed establishment over the Eid holidays from June 28th to June 30th, 2023. Our time at Meridian Hotel Abu Dhabi was nothing short of exceptional, and I wanted to take a moment to share our wonderful experiences.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exemplary hospitality by your dedicated staff. The service we received throughout our stay was truly commendable. The staff members were attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their genuine warmth and willingness to assist made us feel valued as guests.

The accommodations provided were exquisite. Our rooms were not only spacious and well-appointed but also meticulously maintained, offering a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the furnishings to the amenities, truly exceeded our expectations.

We were particularly impressed with the culinary delights offered at your hotel. The food was exceptional, with a diverse range of delectable dishes that catered to various tastes and preferences. Whether it was the sumptuous breakfast spreads or the delightful meals at your restaurants, each culinary experience was a feast for the senses. The quality of the food, combined with the impeccable service from your restaurant staff, made our dining experiences truly memorable.

The location of Meridian Hotel Abu Dhabi was ideal, providing convenient access to the city's attractions and landmarks. The serene ambience of the hotel's surroundings, coupled with its close proximity to the beach, allowed us to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The pool and beach facilities were well-maintained, providing a perfect setting for unwinding and enjoying the Abu Dhabi sunshine.

Furthermore, the evening entertainment at the disco was fantastic. The vibrant atmosphere and energetic performances created a lively and enjoyable experience for all. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, dancing and making memories with our family.

Overall, our stay at Meridian Hotel Abu Dhabi was beyond our expectations. The impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, delectable cuisine, convenient location, and enjoyable amenities truly made it an outstanding experience for our family.

This was my first time staying here, am a frequent solo traveler. The place has a lot of heritage attached to it being one of the first chain hotels that opened in Abu Dhabi. Queen Elizabeth stayed here as well as a big list of historical famous figures. You can consider it kind of a boutique hotel. Check in was quick and smooth (online booking) Ismail checked me in swiftly. I did request another room though as the room I was given had a view of an AC chiller on the roof and nothing else. Since am staying for 6 nights I couldn’t accept that and they changed my room but I had to wait for around 30 minutes for the other one to be ready. New room has an amazing view of the pool and was very nice. The hotel building is generally old, so when it rained (which as you can imagine isn’t very common in AD, the rain was leaking through the window and made the room carpet wet. I informed the front desk about it to see if they can do something to help dry it but unfortunately they didn’t do anything about it and by the day I was checking out the carpet was already smelly. The AC as well got very uncomfortable with high levels of humidity in the room after the rain , again asked the front desk to check it as I was leaving for the day. Not sure if they actually did something about it or not but it didn’t get any better.

Beds are comfortable but some of the bedsheets are aged and you can see parts where they worn out a bit. Pool and beach facilities of course are amazing and the hotel is mainly popular for those. Breakfast buffet was excellent with many varieties and a chef that was able to cook eggs exactly how I asked. Room service was quick but not very impressive. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, for example Naeem Ahmed a waiter in the breakfast buffet, recognised my stuff and when I put my bag on a table on day 3 and went to get food I came back to find my cup of coffee ready without asking for it. He just anticipated that I will sit here and repeated the coffee I ordered the past 2 days which shows an amazing and really rare sense of proactivity in customer service.

Aris as well was very quick help when I spilled a drink. She jumped out of no where and assisted me with a lovely smile. The restaurant Manager is always hands on especially during breakfast rush hour he was keeping an eye on all the details as well as offering a helping hand to the staff whenever needed.
