Beach Rotana - all suites — Hotel in Abu Dhabi

My Second visit to this hotel and I’m grateful for the hospitality of the entire team that accommodated me. Joel, Christian, Oumar, Nicole, Priya, Jeric, Van and Charles were all round 5 stars in their service. Problem’s would be solved immediately and with no hassle. The staff know how to prioritise customer’s needs and get things done

I stayed here (even during the storm in the UAE) and felt absolutely safe and comfortable. You can enter Abu Dhabi Mall without having to leave the building as it’s completely connected to the hotel. They offer room service and they always have someone to solve something which is why they’re very competitive. Also, extremely safe, many cameras installed and lift is only available for use if you have your room card. And if you lose your room card, they’ll replace it in 15 seconds. Cleaners 3x a week so hygiene standard is very high. Strong AC, comfortable beds and a beautiful view (depending on your room either of the city or the Galleria Mall)

They offer buggies to the main hotel, which offers you a gym, pool, luxury towels, sauna, view of the galleria and more. Italian and Indian restaurants are also conveniently available in the main hotel.

Taxis and public transport is easily accessible. As soon as you exit the hotel, on your first immediate right turn, you’ll see many taxi pick ups and drop offs making touring the city very easy. You’re in the heart of the city so nearly everything is close-by (usually 20 mins max) which is very nice. Dubai is an hour-ish away from this hotel. A coop supermarket is also readily available. 24/7 Denny’s next door and brand new grand emirates market closes at 2am (comparable to a Walmart in the USA and a combination of Primark and Tesco in UK but a lot cheaper)

Been to many hotels and I can honestly tell you that you will struggle to find a better team of staff with an all round 5 star level service than this hotel. I came here for the stay and left with many friends. I wish more success to these people and the hotel and God willing will visit next time

Recommendations:

Take a walk/run near the galleria. Go to Corniche beach (very close by), try Karak chai and Lokma, take a taxi to Dubai, go to the fish market (you have to!), Saadiyat Mamsha, Reem central park, Yas Island (Ferrari world, Warner bros, Marina Circuit and the mall), desert safari (either at DXB or AD)

Stove for cooking wasn’t powerful so home made meals took longer than expected to make (but this was compensated by services around the city so personally for me wasn’t too...

Our stay at the this suits was completely bad . We were family with 3 kids ling stay First before we booked we got 3D from the reservation about the suite it was amazing with nice view but after we booked and made check in boom we got something else than what they sent us . Other suits old with connected Door to other room which we had many clash with the guest next door and even if you use phone he will knock the door and asking to stop making noise sure we informed the receptionist and duty manger called and security but no solutions made by the hotel . Even we asked from the moment to change the suits they replay sorry its fully booked .the photos i uploaded its from the suite I complained after i ask the housekeeper to clean well they said the house keeping will come to check our need , he didn’t he sent the supervisor and after two hour and half cleaning still dirt many places tell now i believe. You set to eat dinner and the chair fall down because it was broken and fixed badly as in the photo . Thanx god not me or my kids got hurt . I called the receptionist to send someone to fixed it she said okay and no one came after two days I asked the housekeeper to take and fix and after 3 days i asked other one about it he said he will ask his supervisor after we got other one .baby chair they don’t provide for the suite, we asked extra bed before check in nothing we needed to ask for it after , swimming pool was closed tell the last day they said its re opened, kids club closed no play ground , beach was small as half closed with few places which all were full , all the time . If you have kids at school and the school bus has to pick them up you have to leave your room half hour before to go other building which mean or you walk all mall and hotel and you go out in the heat over 40 C , or you walk out from the all suites door in the street also very hot . We asked thats they allowed the bus to stop where is the pick up and drop off the guest front of all suits they said not allowed. Anyway , always sorry we apologized but nothing improved. This just part from what we had and the list very long , we got offer to have complimentary dinner at last day , after all complaints but we refused we are not seeking these things we were seeking to get what we booked for and to solve our issues but without any improvements. I recently stayed at Beach Ratana all suites and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Here are the main issues I encountered during my stay:

1/Unacceptable Wait Time at Reception

The check-in process itself was painfully slow, and the receptionist seemed overwhelmed and unprepared(Christian and Priya).its not their mistakes, they need training in how to communicate with different nationalities not only Indians. In addition we booked through booking .com two bed room apartment and it’s not reflecting in there system which is weird !! Their answer was that they didn’t have this room available ,also this is really bad since we are already waiting for more than an hour,our kids got tired so I asked them for a connected room ,they said you can book on the main hotel so I said please check. then they start calling the main hotel with no answer and I waited more 30 min same result no answer, finally some one answered them and give us very high rate even more than booking .com I decided to go for the only option they have which is one bed room apartment that is available in there system because our kids were very hungry and tired

2/Lack of Transportation Services Ruined My Stay

I was shocked to find that there were no taxis or Uber services available in the hotel . Despite the hotel’s central location, it was nearly impossible to get around without a car so the only solution is to go to Abudhabi mall since it’s in the same place and drag my bag along way then wait in entrance to get taxi also if you book through Uber , the Uber driver will go to the main beach rotana hotel not your location and he will cancel the booking since he don’t know the location for beach rotana all suits

3/Disappointing Breakfast Buffet with Limited Options

The breakfast buffet was extremely limited and did not live up to my expectations. There were very few options available, and the quality of the food was mediocre at best. The selection included only a couple of hot dishes, a few pastries, and some basic fruits , For the price I paid, I expected a much better breakfast experience.

Overall, this hotel might be suitable for business travelers who are self-sufficient and need a place to sleep and work. However, it is not a good choice for families or anyone seeking a relaxing stay. I would not recommend this hotel for a family vacation or a...
