Our experience at the restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and incredible hospitality. Khalid was a standout, immensely knowledgeable, attentive, and truly passionate about the restaurant’s concept. He took the time to guide us through the menu, shared the stories behind the dishes, and made sure every detail of our evening was perfect. His presence added a personal, thoughtful touch that made us feel like more than just guests.

Chef Mikhael brought not only phenomenal flavors to the table but also a magnetic energy that lit up the room. His friendly nature and unique sense of humor brought smiles to every single guest; he’s the heart and soul of the experience.

And then there was Roy—an absolute gem. He was lightning-fast with service, consistently attentive, and always delivered our food with a warm, genuine smile. His energy and grace elevated the entire dining experience.

The food was beyond delicious; to every bite bursting with authentic flavor; and the mocktails? Completely addictive. We couldn’t stop ordering them. And the Greek-Mediterranean vibe was simply mind-blowing—like being whisked away to the Aegean coast for the evening.

Pappas Tavern located at the W Hotel on Yas Island, is a great spot for a delicious Greek meal. The place is cozy, with both indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived it was hard to choose either to enjoy the relaxed vibes with soft Greek music inside or sit outside to take in the view of the W hotel and fountains, which is really nice.

The atmosphere feels like a little Greek village with traditional music in the background, so it’s easy to feel like you’re in Greece. It’s a really comfortable and welcoming spot to enjoy Greek meal.

The food here is amazing, I was truly impressed! I loved the tzatziki - very fresh and creamy, the octopus was perfectly cooked, soft, tasty with stunning presentation, and the lobster pasta was a real treat. But the best part was the orange cake (portokalopita), it was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t stop enjoying it!

The staff is super friendly and took great care of us, which just made the whole experience even better. They also have a good wine selection to go with the food.
