First of the Food was great!
Sadly there are a couple of mishaps that need to be fixed:
At the beginning we did not receive any card for drinks neither general or otherwise, only after inquiring we received a wine card we did not ask for the general beverage card and did not see one through our visit.
After ordering our food (two mains) the risotto (my main) was served rather quickly but the pizza was served only after two visits from the receptionist and a while after the risotto was already finish (I took my time eating).
While my husband ate his Pizza asked for another glass of the wine I had ordered before (a really nice rosé) and got served a completely different one.
(Fun fact there was only one Rosé by the glass on the card we were shown …)
After those mishaps we received just the casual “it’s busy” excuse and no espresso or such on the house (as custom with italian style restaurants).
All in all great food, nice staff but a lot to work on for the exclusivity...
Read morePorto Gina is an absolute triumph of Italian dining. From the moment you walk in, you feel enveloped in an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance, where every detail feels like a work of art. The culinary experience was simply divine. We started with the Burrata salad, which was fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. For our mains, the Lasagna was rich, authentic, and tasted like a treasured family recipe, while the Salmon was cooked to perfection. Each dish was a testament to true Italian culinary craft. For dessert, the Tiramisu was the perfect finale – light, flavourful, and utterly classic. The cocktails were just as impressive. The Milanese Spritz was crisp and refreshing, and the Red Goose was a wonderfully crafted and unique drink. If you are looking for a dining experience that feels like a sophisticated journey through Italy, Porto Gina is the place to be. It's more than just a meal; it's an appreciation of Italian art. Highly...
