Yas Food Hall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

steaks & butter at yas food hall!

we had lunch during the weekend and the atmosphere was still great. not overcrowded and actually super family friendly.

the staff at steaks & butter were stellar. so attentive, so generous, and all smiles. though the restaurant was casual and serving burgers, they made it feel like a michelin star restaurant.

the food is where they really nailed it. their fries are the “french” style fries that pairs well with their steaks (though we didn’t get any they had a limited selection.) and it also comes with a tangy sauce. their mushroom burger uses earthy fresh mushrooms not the canned ones, along with a double patty. their hot dogs used a perfect blend of salty and smokey flavours, think of a gourmet ikea hotdog and it already came with their house special fries.

now the dynamite shrimp was a funny surprise, they accidentally punched it into our receipt but honored it despite us asking for it to be removed from our order. as a BIG self-proclaimed critic of dynamite shrimps, this is as close as a restaurant has come to P.F. Changs. they asked if we had any reviews, and for 35 dirhams and that generous of a shrimp? none. get it, enjoy yourself, and save yourself...

We visited Ferrari World and then we were hungry. Walking inside Yas Mall, we found this place called Huna. It's not pleasant to the eye, it's a boring place with not much to say. It has several restaurants, and they all look promising, but this time we saw they had a taco place (the best choice of all) called Tacoville Restaurant. I can say without a doubt that it is the best Mexican restaurant in all of Abu Dhabi, and as a Spaniard living in different countries, including Mexico, I can say that it is!

Tacoville is hidden behind a wall, and you can hardly see it. And to access the Food Hall, if you're not looking and discovering things inside the mall, you'd never find it because it's very hidden. As I said before, it's a gloomy and dark place that doesn't invite you to anything...

But inside, you can find this hidden gem. The food is incredibly delicious, and the guys' attention is also great! They are super friendly. Without a doubt, it's worth visiting this restaurant. We ordered food from other places, and the only ones worth mentioning are Saigon and the Chinese shop. Of course, Tacoville is the star...

Souq Huna is an absolutely amazing food hall now opened in Yas Mall close to Marks and Spencer. A variety of restaurants with good food options are available. Different choices of cuisine from around the world. Arabic. Korean. Lebanese. Mexican. Japanese. Italian. Thai. Each restaurant has its own space for seating. Some you can watch your food being cooked live. There is also an Asian mini mart QKO where you can buy snacks and cup noodles. It's busy during the weekends, and you might not be able to find any table for dining. Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner with...
