Asha's Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

I've been in Dubai for a while now, and the one thing that I learned is,that you've to trust your own instincts and go and try new places every now and then, offcourse you might not like everything, but then nothing and no one is perfect.    ( Ok sorry, back to restaurant reviewing )

I had heard so many things about Asha's, and had decided not to go, for those of you who aren't familiar with the name or its reasoning, its a contemporary under the patronage of the famous Indian singer Asha Bhosle, hence the name Asha's. I read once that she said 'singing is a lot like cooking it brings joy & pleasure to the  audience' how sweet and thoughtful. So they menu is derived by her and this place is tucked away in the Umm Hurair Wafi Pyramids, has been visited by several  celebrities... the list is long and never ending.

The menu is North Indian and there's a huge separate bar area too. So it was a weekday,and I read that they’re now delivering I got super excited and ordered the Family Bundle, it’s a great deal they’re set menus for individual starting at 109/- & for a family of four for 199/- and there’s another one for a family of six.

The package had:-

Veg Samosa Chicken Tikka Butter Chicken Roghan Josh Paneer Jalfarezi Daal Makhani Boil Rice Roti Ghulab Jamuns

Came with the usual condiments pappar ,it came with this dips platter, I loved the mango chutney, so tangy n sweet.. just the way I like it.

Now about the food, portions are decent, price is awesome & its surely a meal for four, you would need to get more roti or rice thou. Apart from that everything tasted nice, the chicken tikka was grilled to perfection, the meat of roghan josh was soft, and the paneer jalfareizi was delicious too.

Lastly but most importantly the ghulab jamuns were heavenly, not too sweet, good size ,light and fresh....

This is definitely a great option to try the restaurant, the place is worth a shot,I did read through the menu and there were so really interesting snacks and starters and some mocktails seemed promising, I'll go back for a proper meal and will keep you folks posted how it goes.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Asha’s – Asa’s Contemporary Indian Cuisine with a group of close friends, and it turned out to be far more than just a dinner outing. It was a beautiful reunion — a chance to reconnect and enjoy quality time together after a long stretch of being caught up in our own busy work lives.

From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt warmly welcomed. The ambiance was absolutely lovely — soothing music, elegant décor, and a vibrant yet relaxing atmosphere that instantly put us at ease.

A special mention must go to the wonderful staff who made our evening truly unforgettable. Anita, the hostess, greeted us with a bright smile and genuine warmth. She not only guided us to our table with grace but even helped us capture a lovely group photo, which made for a beautiful memory.

Ahad, who took our order, was incredibly attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout. He patiently explained the menu and helped us select some amazing dishes. Paras, a trainee, impressed us with his efficiency and politeness while clearing our table — a small yet important detail that reflects the professionalism of the team.

The manager also took time to visit our table towards the end of our meal to ask for feedback, which added a thoughtful, personal touch to the entire experience. It’s rare to see such genuine hospitality and team coordination, right down to the smallest role.

As for the food — simply wow! Every dish was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You could feel the care and passion behind every bite. It was a celebration of Indian cuisine at its finest.

Overall, it was more than just a meal — it was a joyful evening filled with laughter, conversation, and unforgettable moments. I will definitely be coming back soon, and I wholeheartedly recommend Asha’s to anyone looking for great food, a warm ambiance, and exceptional service.
