BAI Bar & Terrace — Restaurant in Dubai

We had a casual dinner at the restaurant apart from the good ambience, every thing was not in place WORST - BAD ATTITUDE OF THE WAITER - when i asked them for the clarification of Services charges and MF on the bill (Just let me know how many readers are aware of MF) The reply was Sir... this is not INDIA - What a pity on the waiter and #Radisson Blu for such an attitude. It started with Waiter 1 - she has asked 4 times whether anyone is allergic to any food - fine we ignored even after 4 times she was doing her job, the next we order penne pasta with just salt and white sauce - specifically mentioned its for kid. They cam back to us that the sauce has black pepper - we asked them can't chef make the another sauce with the just salt - for it the waiter gave the rebuttal that the sauce is already done in advance to do it from scratch will take 20-30 mins...which we said fine After 10 mins to our surprise we got the pasta with not penne...by this time kid was hungry and she ate the food.

Than we order Main course which took least half an hour...food was pretty average with small portions - forgot to mention started portions were not enough for 1 person as well which also cam after 40-45 minutes after we reminded the waiters couple of times.

This was the situation when the restaurant has 20%-25% occupancy only - I fail to understand how they cope up at 80% occupancy or 100% which i doubt with such a BAD ATTITUDE & SERVICE they will ever have.

We went for their Billy Brunch on Saturday & the experience was awesome. It was really worth it. The view & ambiance was great, however because of summers we were seated inside with partial canal view The drinks were made of perfect proportions The Appetisers were so many & so flavourful you won’t really need to repeat them Take your time and sip on awesome drinks these guys serve and savour the main course along with yummy desserts I loved how diverse their menu was, they served- edamame, gyoza, crispy squid, dynamite shrimps, guacamole, tandoori wings, cauliflower croquettes, butter milk fried chicken, crispy kale salad, they also had beef sliders (we don’t eat beef) and for mains you can choose one each and we opted for mac & cheese pasta with a delicious garlic bread, grilled bbq board in which they served A class lamb chops with curry & chicken kebabs with few sides The main course was simply awesome I must say. Even after being so stuffed we enjoyed them We ended with desserts to choose from- so we had -churros & sticky toffee pudding Not to forget the awesome service provided by the staff, I only remember the name of Alice however all the 3 people who interacted with us were very hospitable & attentive, kudos Team!!
